With the rapid development of the Internet, do you think it can take the place of printed media?7.I began to use the Internet when I was a middle school student. I usually surf the Internet to watch films, go shopping, and find out information. Internet has become an important part of my life.Nowadays, with the rapid development of electronic technology, computers are widely used in everyday life. It make s our life convenient, enjoyable, and colorful. But I don’t think it will take the place of printed media. For one thing, Internet has to rely on too much things, such as electricity, computers, and network, so you can’t guarantee that it can run smoothly when you need it. For another thing, surfing internet is like eating fast food, we receive information quickly and forget it quickly, too. But when we read books, we can remember it for a long time. Printed media is especially important in school. I can’t imagine the class with no books and paper. Besides, spending too much time online will easily lead to myopia(近视[mai'əupiə]). What’s more, there is much unhealthy information on the internet which disrupts our minds. This is bad for children.8. Can you make a list of some medical malpractices you have ever experienced or heard about? What do you think can be done to prevent these medical malpractices?8.Some medical malpractices: misdiagnosis (误诊['mis,daiəɡ'nəusis]), overcharging, infect other disease in the surgery, leave something in the body of the patient, miss the best treatment time and so on.For the doctors: They should obey the rules and regulations. Patience and responsibilityare very important for doctors. At the same time they should improve their technical level and widely absorb clinical (临床的['klinikəl] )experience from each other. Some doctors ought to improve their medical ethics（道德标准['eθiks] ）a nd don’t be greedy for fees In my mind.For the hospitals: The hospital should set up a quality control department and strengthen medical quality supervision and management. The hospital should also be supervised( 监督['sju:pəvaiz] ) people and the government actively. In the mean time, the hosipital should train the doctors regularly to improve their responsibility .For the government: The government should lay down the law to normalize it, which will help to prevent some bad phenomenon, like overcharging .They should popularize (['pɔpjuləraiz]) medical knowledge as well.9. Some people think that good performances in sports are the most important things when we evaluate an athlete. Do you agree? Why or why not?9.I don’t agree with that. Although good performance s are important, I think the most important thing to a good athlete is his moral character and sprits.On one hand, I think they must have hard training in their daily life. With the help of their coaches, athletes improve skills in all aspects .All of them want to perform perfectly in the game and get good grades, but there is only one champion in a game. The athletes can’t guarantee good performances in every game. So we can’t conclude that he is not a good athlete if he loses the game.On the other hand, when they are playing in the games, they are under pressure from their parents, coaches, fans and so on. So there are many uncertainties which may lead to a failure. I think if they try their best, they are good athletes no matter what the result is. The most important things to an athlete are his love to sports and his never-say-die spirit. If he makes us moved and he loves his country, he is really a good athlete.In a word, we can’t evaluate an athlete by the good performances in sports.10. Do you agree that family education is essential to a person’s growth? How can we ensure that children grow up happily, healthily and safely, and are able to fulfill their potentials in life?Of course I do. Family education is very important, especially in the baby stage. Good family education will help the brain development, and makes the children be cleverer.In the children’s growth, I think the parents should give them enough freedom while ensuring the safety of the children. This will cultivate children’s s elf-care ability and judgment skill. In the meantime, they should pay attention to the children’s interest s, personality and talents. Then cultivate them accordingly. Communication between the parents and children is the most important thing.Besides, the parents should keep a warm family atmosphere of harmony.。
