(1)教师在课件上出示John和Wu Yifan的图片,询问学生:Who are they?并介绍听力活动的背景:John和Wu Yifan在谈论上周做的事情。
请学生读出题目并尝试猜测答案,进行听前预测。
(2)教师播放第一遍录音,学生回答课本上的问题。
(3)教师播放第二遍录音,学生回答下列问题:①What is John going to do?
②Why did John sleep all day?(答案:①He is going to meet Amy.②Because he had a cold.)
2.Let’s talk.
(1)教师首先询问学生一般情况下在周末做什么?然后用课件呈现已做事情的图片,询问学生:How was your weekend?并利用课件给学生一些提示,如:interesting,busy,happy,good,nice等。
教师运用核心句型“Was it…?What did you do?Did you…?”与学生交流,帮助学生理解句子的语言环境与意义。
(2)教师用课件呈现描述自己周末的两个关键词:

教师请学生尝试用Was it…?或者Did you…?提问,教师来回答。

每个课时的教学都要较好地保证课堂教学中一定量的听说训练。
本课时设计以学生为主体,以对话交际活动为主线展开师生间的教与学活动。
利用已学知识,巧妙地采用视听结合的方法,使课堂形象生动。
学生通过教师的动作、神态和声音,很快地理解了本课的难点。
静听多遍,起到了意想不到的教学效果。
在指导学生读写的教学中,教师充分利用第一课时学生已大量会说的基础,进而要求会用,并动手书写和组词造句。
从而使学生学习的信心得到增强,能力得到提高,体现了“学以致用”和“循序渐进”的教学原则。
