《Unit 11 Cooking with Mocky》教学设计：李兰11北京市昌平区二毛学校一.教学内容教材：北师大版先锋英语五年级下册第十一单元Cooking with Mocky---talk together 教学对象：小学五年级本课是第三课时，学生在第一，二课时的学习中已经掌握了做蛋糕，做蔬菜沙拉，做水果沙拉的步骤。
相关的单词如: flour, butter, plate, bowl, slat, sugar, 本节课以两两对话，小组活动的展示，自主听、读为突破口，重在培养学生的听说能力和语言运用能力，充分体现以交际为中心的课堂教学。
二.设计理念语言的根本作用是交际，培养学生语言能力的最佳途径是沟通、交际。
本课正是在语觉论的理论指导下，以“语言交际为中心”的外语教学设计思想和指导，借助多媒体网络提供的丰富资源，以看图对话，小组活动的展示，自主听、读故事为突破口，使学生在语篇、交际的情境中培养了听说能力和综合语言运用能力，。

故事讲述的是Ken ,Ann和Mocky 三人合作，根据烹饪书上的指示为爸爸特意制作蛋糕的过程。
故事反映的是西方文化，是学生了解西方饮食习惯和餐饮文化的好机会，但蛋糕的制作过程对学生来说是全新的内容，因为对于大多数学生而言在家里参与制作蛋糕的机会很少，所以让学生能够理解并说明制作蛋糕的步骤，并合理运用put.add.break.mix 等动词,是本课的重点和难点所在。
但故事中Mocky想要一个大蛋糕而有意夸张烹饪书上的指示是本故事的趣味所在。
同时故事中出现大量表示食品材料数量的用法，例如：three kilograms of flour .a liter of milk 等。
虽然在本课时中不作重点学习，但要求学生能够在活动中理解，明白数与量的概念。
教学目标：1、知识，能力目标（1）能够理解故事内容（2）能够理解，听、说、模仿写add mix break flour butter sugar（3）能够简单描述制作蛋糕的步骤2、情态、策略，文化意识目标主动参与并练习所学习内容，积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流，通过这样的学习过程培养学生的秩序感，发展学生的动手能力和与人合作的能力。
教学重难点：理解故事内容，说明蛋糕制作步骤教法和学法指导：1、基于整体建构的主体教学理论指导与实践2、遵循在理解的基础上，听，说，读，写目标语言的认知规律进行指导。

二、教学背景分析教学内容:本课是北师大版教材小学英语（一年级起）五年级第二学期第十一单元Cooking with Mocky第二课时，内容为新单词salt plate knife cookbook pour bake；复习做蛋糕要用到的原料单词flour a liter of milk sugar butter；描述做蛋糕步骤的动词put add break mix以及描述做蛋糕的步骤。
本节课的单词量大，内容多，因此我在各个环节都为学生适时的创设情境，使教学过程和教学内容情境化，激发学生的学习兴趣，增强交际的真实感，让他们在相对真实的情境中体验语言的运用，学习语言并逐步练习运用相关的单词句子，能够向他人描述做蛋糕的步骤及方法。
学生情况：授课班级为我校的五年一班学生，该班学生性格活泼好动，因此我根据学生的特点设计了用尝实物的环节，帮助教师做蛋糕并且利用小组活动帮助学生更好的练习做蛋糕的步骤。
教学方式：本课伊始运用观看视频的方式引起学生的注意，激发学生的学习兴趣，利用美味的蛋糕图片吸引学生的眼球，同时激发学生做蛋糕的欲望。
在课堂过程中以复习做蛋糕的步骤为导入，接着让学生帮助教师做蛋糕师生互动，小组内做蛋糕生生互动的方式进行交流学习。
