This lesson is from Unit 3of Grade 7(Section A), PEP. It’ s a speaking and listening lesson. The main purpose of this lesson is to let students know the names of family members and learn to introduce thefamily members and friends. What the students will learn in this class plays an importantpart in daily life. And the topic of family is related to their life. So it is helpful to raise the students’learning interests and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English. Thenew pattern "Is this your sister?" is based on "Is this your pencil?" and the sentence "Who is this?" is developed from the one "What's this?". In the previous units, students have learntabout General Questions and Special Questions. They’ vealso mastered certain basic skillsin listening, speaking, reading and writing. Part 1. Teaching material analysis This period is from Unit 3 of Junior English Book 1. I want to teaching part is section A. In this unit, the all thing have around a topic. That is “the family”. From the single family callto the coherent sentence. Teaching‟s gradual progress and administrative levels are appeard very very well in this unit. The main goals are let Ss learn to indentify and introduce family or friend each other.

Part 2. Teaching aims
● There have three aims in this lesson, they are: Aims of the
knowledge, aims of the ability, aims of the emotion. Knowledge

their exercise book and write a short essay to introduce who are they.

Step3. Practice
• In this step, I‟ll give the Ss 10 minuteo to Ss to do it. • First, ask Ss tske themselves‟ family photo to introduce esch other. Then choose a representative to introduce his family for us.

Step2. Presentation
The purpose is Ss can grasp and use the new knowledge better. In this step, I‟ll use 28 minutes to teach it. • 1. I‟ll use the PPT to show some photos of my family or friend. Then I‟ll ask “Who are they?Do you know?” and after that myself to answer it: This is my father, that is my mother, these are my grandparents, those are my friends… Then use this photos as a reference. Let Ss read and remember the new words repetitive.
