1. Bali: Day of Tranquility巴厘岛——安宁日
The festival is held to celebrate the New Year’s Eve
every year. During the festival, every family is
acquired to stay at home without chatting. Also, people
need to turn off the lights, TV and radio. The festival
is mainly held to help people to reflect.
每年在巴厘岛除夕庆祝该节日。节日期间，整个岛十分安静，

2. Peru Kusikexia: Summer Solstice Celebration秘鲁 库斯科——夏至庆典

of actors are dressed in Inca traditional costumes. One man plays the
role of God to pray for the blessing from the sun.

go through the Katsura River and go around
the Saidaiji. After that, they will fight
to throw the pastors’ St stick. In other
places, a naked man was hidden in the
crowd, people who touch him will get good
luck the following year.

5. Lo Lop Buri Province, Thailand: Monkey Feast Festival 泰国 华富里府——猴子

Long ago, there are plenty of monkeys in Lo Lop Buri
Province, and people there believed that the best
way to control them was to "hug" them. So from the
year of 1989, people offer a lot of food for the
monkeys to eat on the last weekend of November.
以前，华富里府猴子泛滥成灾，人们觉得制服这些猴子
