6AUnit6Holidays六年级英语教案教材分析：本单元主要围绕“谈论节日里所做的事情”这一话题展开教学。
这一单元的内容体现了浓郁的东西方文化特点，是一个学生十分感兴趣的话题。
本课时为第二课时，在第一课时中，学生学习了new year’s day和spring festival，初步学习了本单元的四会句型what do people usually do…? did you …?及其回答。
所以为本课时的教学打下了基础。
本课时继续学习节日名称easter，may day， children’s day , dragon boat festival, national day, mid-autumn festival, halloween , christmas.巩固c部分句型，在此基础上学习a部分课文第二部分。
整个教学设计由老师引导，学生自主参与，获取新知，然后巩固操练，合作创新。
这充分体现了新课程标准要求的采用互动的课堂模式，提倡开放的学习方式，鼓励学生创造性地运用语言。
“互动”、“开放”、“创造”营造了平等、民主、宽松的课堂氛围，学生就获得了相当大的主动权。
学情分析：培养学生“初步运用英语交际的能力”是英语素质教学的目标，而语言技能是交际能力的基础。
语言技能包括听说读写四方面。
其中听力的独特功能对学生掌握、运用英语起到至关重要的作用，听是学生获得语言信息及语言感受的最主要途径，是提高其他技能的基础，听得正确，才能读得准确、说得流利。
学生具有良好的听力理解力，才能更快、更多的获得更准确的资讯。
提高学生的听力不是一时半会儿就能做到的，在我们平时的教学中就要注重培养学生认真听的良好习惯，例如，当一位同学谈论完国情假期做的事情后，立即问其他同学what did …do?来检查他是否掌握语言，也督促学生上课认真倾听他人发言。
