一、专业简介（Ⅰ、Major Introduction）
金融学专业是为适应中国社会主义市场经济的需要而设立的应用性本科专业。本专业培养学生扎实的现代经济学理论基础，扎实的宏观金融理论、微观金融理论以及金融管理知识，比较熟练地掌握现代经济分析方法，具备从事金融经济管理、实务以及教学研究工作的能力。
The finance major is an applied undergraduate major established to satisfy the need for Chinese socialist market economy. Students in this major will be trained to have a solid foundation in modern economic theory, macro finance theory, micro finance theory, as well as financial management. Students will become familiar with modern methods for economic analysis, and acquire the ability to work in the fields of finance, economics, and management, as well as teaching and researches in academia.
二、培养目标（Ⅱ、Academic Objectives）
本专业以培养“政治思想素质高、身心健康、学科基础扎实、富有创新精神、知识面宽、能力强、综合素质高”的理论与应用相结合的金融专业人才为目标。
The objective of this major is to train financial experts with “high morality, healthy body and mind, solid expertise, innovating spirit, broad knowledge, strong ability, and high comprehensive qualities”, who can combine theory and professional knowledge.
三、培养要求（Ⅲ、Academic Requirements）
即对毕业生应获得的知识与能力的要求。
基本要求是：
1．具有坚定的政治信念，具有高度的爱国主义热情，具有崇高的理想，具有强烈的社会责任心，过硬的社会竞争力乃至国际竞争力，个性与人格得到充分、健康地发展。
2．具备扎实的经济学基本理论、宏微观金融理论、金融管理与实务知识，具备综合运用经济金融分析方法和手段进行社会调查、经济金融分析以及解决实际问题的能力。
3．熟悉国家金融改革与金融发展状况，金融政策与法规。
4．了解中外金融学术发展动态及应用前景。
5．毕业后能够胜任在银行、保险、证券、信托等实际金融部门从事金融业务性、管理性工作，胜任在企事业单位从事财务及经济管理工作，以及胜任在科研院所从事教学研究工作。
This section lays out requirements in knowledge and ability for graduating students.
The basic requirements include,
1. Students should have a firm political belief and strong patriotism, lofty ideals, a strong sense of social responsibility, and advanced social or even international competitive power, a healthy and fully developed individuality.
2. Student should have a solid foundation in economic theory, macro and micro finance theory, financial management, and professional knowledge, as well as the ability to combine
economic methods and financial analysis in conducting social investigations, economic financial analysis and solving practical problems.
3. Students should become familiar with Chinese financial reforms and the state of China’s financial development, as well as financial policies and regulations.
4. Students should be aware of the dynamics of financial researches in and outside of China, and their potentials of application.
5. After graduation, students will be qualified for (1) financial and managerial jobs in banks, insurance companies, securities firms, trust companies; (2) accounting and managerial jobs in private firms and public organizations; (3) teaching and research jobs in academia.
四、学制与学位（Ⅳ、Length of Study and Degree）
学制四年。
按计划要求完成学业者，授予经济学学士学位。
It takes four years to complete this major. Those who satisfy all requirements as planned will be awarded a bachelor degree in economics.

政治经济学、宏微观经济学（初级和中级）、货币经济学、公共经济学、国际经济学、计量经济学、经济学说史、金融投资学、金融工程学、公司理财、商业银行经营管理、西方货币金融理论、国际金融（英）、国际结算（英）、金融经济学、国际金融管理（英）、金融风险管理、金融市场学、固定收益证券、中国金融史、投资组合管理、银行会计、市场营销、商业银行系列讲座。

七、主要专业实验和实习安排（Ⅶ、Main Laboratory Courses and Internships）
计算机类、金融投资类、商业银行类、财务类、计量经济类专业课程实验，以及毕业实习。
Laboratory courses related to computers, financial investments, commercial banking, accounting, and econometrics, as well as interns before graduation.
八、专业优势及特色(Ⅷ、Major Strength and Characteristics)
本专业包括金融学一个专业方向，培养学生系统掌握经济学、金融学基本理论和相关的专业知识，了解中国金融改革和发展状况，了解中外金融学的学术动态及应用前景，具有运用现代经济方法进行社会调查、经济分析的能力，具备从事经济研究和经济实际工作的能力。
This major includes one specialization in finance. It trains students to systematically master basic theories in economics and finance and related professional knowledge. Students will become familiar with Chinese financial reforms and financial development, and be aware of the dynamics of financial researches in and outside of China, and their potentials of application. Students will acquire the ability to use modern economic methods to conduct social investigations and economic analysis, and as well as the ability to do economic researches and work in a practical economic field.
