例如:①Slowly he raised the bow...②Solids can usually be turned into liquids and liquids into gases if we raise their temperatures high enough.Soon steam can be seen rising from the wet clothes.

①The sun was rising when we got to the top of the mountain.②He rose to welcome.③The next morning I was the first to rise.④The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

⑤Prices rise every day in those countries.

⑥The chairman rose from his chair.

(131):rise,arise

131 rise, arise

Rise的使⽤范围较⼴,作为庄严的⽤语时,⼤都⽤作⽐喻的意味,常见于诗歌和古语,现代英语已很少使⽤(如 to rise in the world、to rise to greatness、to rise in life)。

He rises/rises up early.(正式⽤语) 他很早起床。

The tribe rose to power and became a nation state.

Our living standards are rising steadily.

The wind is rising.

The tide is rising.

The rise of the tide is fifty feet.

She arises at six every day.

考试⼤ How did the quarrel arise? An upsurge of nationalism will arise soon.
