Period 1 Reading The General Idea of This Period: This period includes Warming up,Reading and Comprehending of Unit 2.It introduces the similarities and differences between ancient and modern Olympic Games in the form of a interesting interview between Pausanias,a Greek writer 2000 years ago and Lily,a Chinese girl living at the present time.Reading the passage,the students can learn some reading strategies such as skimming and comparing.
