7A Unit 5 Going Shopping

一、教材依据

牛津初中英语7A第五单元第一课时Welcome to the unit and comic strip

二、设计思路

本节课是以Simon的生日为引导线,为他买礼物而展开,教授各种礼物商品的名称,并通过对话学习表达为他人买东西的句型。在买礼物的路上碰到Hobo和Eddie,引出comic 中的对话。

三、教学目标

通过本单元的学习

1、我们能听、说、读、写free, wallet, already等单词,并了解其含义;能听懂,会说,comic book, sticker, yo-yo, music, idea, need等单词以及come up, need…to do…等短语.

2、通过教学让学生掌握适合青少年的普通礼物的有关词汇。能就购买礼物的话题展开对话。

四、教学重点

关于礼物的词汇以及表达为他人购买礼物的句型

五、教学难点

名词的复数表达方法,不定式结构的用法

六、教学准备

课文中出现的礼品实物(或课件中用图片),收音机,电脑,课件,完成的预习学案。

七、教学过程

Step 1.Lead in

从复习上单元的内容,引到本单元的主题。

Teacher (T):What do you have for breakfast?

Ss: I have bread...

T: But I don’t have anything. So now I am not full. I feel...?

Ss: 饿

T:In English we say ‘hungry’.(带读)

Are you hungry now? (跟读)

But now I don’t have time to buy bread. I’m not ...?

Ss: Free.

T: Good, it’s Chinese meaning is…?

S1:有空的,空闲的。

T:Read after me, ‘free’‘free’.I am not free. Are you free? (横竖行一个一个读,然后小组读或齐读)

(选个学生问)Are you free now? Can you help me?

S2: Yes.

T: You are so kind. Here is my money. Where is it? (问全班)

Ss: In your wallet.

T: ‘Wallet’ read after me! Here is my wallet.

Please buy some bread for me. (问大家)Where can she buy the bread? (如学生预习不充分可以提示,a very big shop)

Ss: A shopping mall. (带读)

T: Shopping mall (带读)

What can she see in the shopping mall?

Ss: …

T: (就准备好的实物,学生手边的用品或屏幕上的图片导入生词) What’s this?

S3: A yo-yo.

T: Read together, ‘yo-yo’. This line, after me, ‘yo-yo’.

Ss: yo-yo.

T: I like playing with yo-yo. (在句子情景中学习新词)

What are they?

S4: They are comic books.

T: ‘A comic book’They are comic books. Many children like reading comic books. (带读)

然后分别介绍‘stickers, music box, pencil box, hair clips, photo album, CD’并通过句子学习。

Step 2.Presentation

在已经学习礼物生词的基础上,通过话题,给学生例子,让学生同桌之间进行对话。

T: Tomorrow is our friend Simon’s birthday. His birthday is soon. His birthday is coming up. (to a student) What can you buy for Simon?

S1: I want to buy him…

T: Why do you buy it /them?

S2: Because…

T: (to another student) Do you have any idea?

Now, work in pairs to make up a new dialogue.

Dialogue to be shown.(2-4 pairs)

Step3. Dialogue on page 75.

T: Simon is happy to see the presents. His friend Daniel wants to buy presents for him, too. He is asking Millie for help. Now read the dialogue and answer the question. ‘What does Daniel want to buy for Simon?’

Answer the question.

Then read in different roles.

Step ic strip

Daniel goes to buy presents. On his way to the shopping mall, he sees Hobo and Eddie. What happens to them? Listen to the tape and answer the question:

What does Hobo want Eddie to do?

Read the dialogue in different roles and answer more questions.

Now, please be Hobo and Eddie. Try to act the dialogue out. (让学生在掌握对话的基础上表演对话, 模仿语音语调的过程中,增强记忆能力,培养语感和认真听、仔细听的良好语言学习习惯。)
