Some places in the world tell their offspring that anything can be achieved if enough effort is applied. There are various advantages and disadvantages to this which the following essay will describe.I fully support those that encourage children to push themselves into achieving anything they want. I believe the advantages of this are that it will teach the children perseverance, dedication, and potentially learn how to deal with failure. For example, when learning to ride a bicycle a child might fall off many times, but if they keep trying and ignore the bruised and cut knees like I did when I was younger, they'll find that eventually, they can ride a bike safely.Potential disadvantages to this strategy may come from the parents, or guardians, pushing a little too hard and not being patient enough to allow the child to learn. This could potentially end up teaching the child the wrong lesson, and not be a form of encouragement at all. Children may become upset, closed off and depressed, and finally, believe that nothing is worth doing.Overall, although there are arguments on both sides of this issue, I firmly believe that if done correctly, it can be a wholly positive experience for children that will give them valuable experience at an early age that will be a huge benefit later in life. These children can grow up to be significant contributors to the public or private sectors as they are unlikely to give up at the first difficult hurdle, and possibly go on to do great things.(译文:世界上有些地方的人会告诉后辈,只要付出足够的努力,就可以取得任何成就。

剑雅4test2小作文

剑雅4test2小作文

剑雅4test2小作文English Answer:The implication of the first part of the prompt is that there are two main types of people in the world: those who believe that the ends justify the means, and those who believe that the means must always be ethical. There is no easy answer to this question, as it depends on a variety of factors, including the specific situation, the potential consequences of the action, and the moral values of the individual. In some cases, it may be necessary to use unethical means to achieve a desirable end. For example, if a doctor is faced with a patient who is in imminent danger of dying, the doctor may need to use a risky experimental treatment that has not been fully tested. In this case, the doctor's goal is to save the patient's life, which is a noble goal. However, the doctor may also be violating the patient's right to informed consent. In other cases, it may be more important to adhere to ethical principles, even if it means that a desired end cannot be achieved. For example, if a scientist is working on a project that has the potential to benefit humanity, but the scientist knows that the project could also be used for harmful purposes, the scientist may have a moral obligation to abandon the project.Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to use unethical means to achieve a desired end is a difficult one that must be made on a case-by-case basis. There is no easy answer, and it is important to weigh all of the factors involved before making a decision.

A Playing is a serious business. Children engrossed in a make-believe world, fox cubs play-fighting or kittens teasing a ball of string aren’t just having fun. Play may look like a carefree and exuberant way to pass the time before the hard work of adulthood comes along, but there’s much more to it than that. For a start, play can even cost animals their lives. Eighty per cent of deaths among juvenile fur seals occur because playing pups fail to spot predators approaching. It is also extremely expensive in terms of energy. Playful young animals use around two or three per cent of their energy cavorting, and in children that figure can be closer to fifteen per cent. ‘Even two or three per cent is huge,’ says John Byers of Idaho University. ‘You just don’t find animals wasting energy like that,’ he adds. There must be a reason.

剑桥雅思4 Text2-task2(修改)

Happiness is of the greatest importance and the most sense in the whole life, which each of us spend all the lives pursuing willingly. Furthermore, it is common deemed that different people believe different types of happiness. While some grasp that material world, which means possession of wealth and good welfare of family is the only standard to measure a happy life, others may hold the view that relationships and quality of health condition need to be taken into consideration when thinking about happiness. In addition to the points above, there is a easily accepted belief that happiness is just a nice feeling and only the very person can feel it of his own.Obviously, happiness is difficult to define based on a variety of life goals,. However, there are still some factors remarkably essential to what extent we are achieving happiness.Initial stage, we are supposed to have an ability to keep a clear perspective inlife, from which we know what we want and what we give up. This is what wecall self-knowledge, telling us what and what not to chase endlessly. On the one hand, problems at work , misunderstanding in friendships and violence at home are all barriers to the paths of achieving happiness. On the other hand, such as courage, persistence and creation, those good qualities all make a contribution in the pursuit, and so do the factors including higher salary ,healthy families ,peaceful environment, etc.Besides, happiness is not determined by the so-called success or failure.(举例) For example, sometimes, if you fall in business and you are sad very much, then take it easy .it just means you are not successful ,not mean you lose the opportunity to be happy. Just go on and work hard. Confidence, like self-awareness, is also important. Although it is difficult to do, it is worthwhile to try it .In short, “All roads lead to Rome.” Go and find your exclusive happiness.。

As is known to all, old people, usually suffering from the pain of diseases or the potential health hazards, can receive professional care in nursing houses, where first-class medical facilities are equipped andexperienced staff are always available. Furthermore, when emergency happens, nursing houses will definitely responde more promptly than children who are not likely to be with their parents all the time, and for this reason, accidents and tradegy can be avoided. At a deeper level, adults don’t have to be distracted to worry about their parents, so they can better focus on their career, which benefits the society to some extent.Admittedly, staying in home and being taken care of by their own children can give old people a stronger sense of family bound. 题目:Creative artists should always be given the freedom to express
their own ideas (in words, pictures, music or film) in whichever way
they wish. There should be no government restrictions on what they
do.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

With the notion of democracy and liberty deepening into people’s
thoughts, that whether creative artists should always have the right
to express their viewpoints freely with no government restrictions
has been a hot topic concerned by society. I hold the opinion that it is
reasonable for artists to do their works as their wishes.

Firstly, nowadays our society is a place where is filled with
democracy and liberty and everybody have the freedom to express
their own opinions in whatever way they like. Creative artists who
always have the ability to come up with advanced ideas are not
exceptional.

Furthermore, innovation is essential for the progress and revolution
of any people or country. The step of moving forward would cease
moving on condition that there are always restrictions restraining the
innovation ideas of creative artists. Advanced opinions that were
always held by creative artists differentiate the passed world and the
present world.

Finally, government restrictions also have bad impacts on the
motivation of creating. Reasonable restrictions withstanding, more
creative artists may also dare that their works may be illegal or have
bad social influence, which will make artists overcautious to take
any action as they wish when they create works.

As far as I am concerned, expressing creative artists’ own ideas in
whichever way they prefer should be encouraged mainly for the sake
that everyone have the right to do his or her work and express his or
her viewpoints freely. (241词)
