(Theory of Territorial Division of Labor)o

Introduce an absolute advantage and comparative

advantage

According to the classic model of international trade introduced by David Ricardo (19th-ccntury English economist) to explain the pattern and the gains from trade in terms of comparative advantage, it assumes a perfect competition and a single factor of production, labor, with constant requirements of labor per unit of output that differ across countries? The basis for trade in the Ricardian model is the differences in technology between countries. As a result, there arc two different ways to describe technology differences: the first method, called absolute advantage, is the way most people understand technology differences; and the second method, called comparative advantagc, is a much more difficult concept.

Absolute advantage is also called the Theory of Absolute Cost or Theory of Territorial Division of Labor , The theory made the division of labor bctwccn different occupations and different types of deductions in one country to the division of labor between countries, and creating an intcrnational division of labor theory. Absolute advantagc theory is the earliest advocates of free trade theory, it is fbunded by the main representative of the British Classical Economists ? A dam Smith . The main content of the Absolute advantage is:

(1)Division of labor can increase the labor capacity, increase the national wealth. Smith believes that the cxchangc is the activity which is caused by the self-regard and to achieve the purpose to favor themselves? And the activity is a natural human tendcncy.

(2)The principle of division of labor is the absolute advantages or absolute interest in cost? Smith further analysis that since the division of labor can greatly increase as labor capacity, if everyone specialized in his most advantageous products, and exchanged, then it is beneficial for everyone? That is to say, the principle of division of labor is the absolute advantages or absolute interest in cost?

(3)International division of labor is the highest stage in various forms of division of labor, it will have good effects on every counties to have the international trade based on international division of labo匚Smith pushed the theoiy from family to countiy, and demonstrates the necessity of international division of labor and international trade? In his opinion, if the principle is fit to different individuals and families, then it will also fit to different counties. International division of labor is the highest stage in various forms of division of labor.

(4)The basis of the international division of labor is the favorable conditions of the Natural Endowment or Acquired Endowment ? Smith believes that the favorable conditions of production is based on the favorable conditions of Natural Endowment or Acquired Endowment ? Natural endowments and Acquired Endowment vary from country to country, and this provides the basis for the international division of labor.

Absolute advantage is the simplest measure of economic performance? It is the ability to produce a good at a lower cost, in terms of real resources than another country. Absolute Advantage is neither necessary nor sufficient for a country to export a good?In other words, a country has an absolute advantage economically over another, in a particular good, when it can produce that good more cheaply or it can produce more of the good than another country can, with the same amount of resources. In fact, absolute advantage appears when multiple products are being considering. For example, if the country “A" has an economic advantage against the countiy “B" at producing the product “X';and the country "A" has an economic advantage against the country U B" at producing the product so “A" has an absolute advantage against “B" with respect to products X and Y.

In fact, a country has an absolute advantage over it trading partners if it is able to produce more of a good with the same amount of resources or the same amount of a good with fewer resources. For example, Zambia has an absolute advantage over many countries in the production of copper because of the existence of reserves of copper ore or bauxite? So in terms of the production of goods, there are obvious gains from specialization and trade, if Zambia produces copper and exports it to those countries that specialize in the production of other goods or services. In other words, some countries have an absolute advantage in the production of many goods relative to their trading partners. Some have an absolute disadvantage? They are inellicient in producing. The theory of comparative costs argues that it is better for a country that is inefficient at producing a good or service to specialize in the production of that good it is least inefficient at, compared with producing other goods?

The theory of Absolute cost is the mixture of the component of science and the component of non-science .The right side of the theory is proloundly pointed out the great significance of division of labor on improving labor productivity. Different countries made their own division of labor based on their own advantages, and through international trade all countries can benefit from others. The wrong side is mainly in that it believes the division of labor is caused by exchange, and exchange is determined by human nature? In foct, the division of labor is the premise of exchange, and division of

labor is earlier than exchange in the history. Meanwhile, the exchange is not the product of human nature, it is the result of the development of social production and the division. The theory of Absolute cost made it reasonable for the division of labor and exchange in different countries which have their own advantages? However, this is only a special case in international trade? If a country has absolute advantages in all aspects, while another has disadvantages in all aspects, then, how should they do? To this question, Smith's theory can not give the answer, and the answer to this problem is given by David ? Ricardo.

David ? Ricardo proposed the Theory of Comparative Cost (later known as the "Comparative Advantage Trade Theory”)in his masterpiece, ”On the Principles of Political Economy and Taxation11. The Comparative Advantage Trade Theory is a pure theoiy based upon a set of assumptions, The Comparative Advantage Trade Theory consider that international trade is based on the relative differences in production teclinology (rather than absolute difference), and the resulting differences in the relative cost? Each country should take the principle H Of two interests choose the more, while of two evils choose the less" 、concentrate on the production and export its H comparative advantage0products, and imports its ^comparative disadvantage1* products. The Comparative Advantage Trade Theory explains the basis of the trade and the trading profits in a more general conditions, and developed The Absolute Advantages Trade Theory greatly.

The theory of comparative advantage is a pure theory based upon a set of assumptions, which is an abstraction from the complexities of the real world? This theory explains why it can be beneficial for two parties (countries, regions, individuals) to deal, even though one of them may be able to produce every item more cheaply than the other. In lact, the theory of comparative advantage is a demonstration that a country can gain from trade even if it has an absolute disadvantage in the production of all goods, or, that it has an absolute disadvantage in the production of all goods, or, that it can gain from trade even if it has an absolute advantage in the production of all goods? As a result, the party with a comparative advantage can produce the particular good or service by giving up less value in other goods or services that he could otherwise produce with his labor and resources than the other parties would have to give up in producing that same good or service.

Comparative advantage measures eflkiency in terms of relative magnitudes?Since countries have limited resources and level of technology they tend to produce gods or services in which they have a comparative advantage?Comparative advantage

implies an opportunity cost associated with the production of one good compared to another. However, the theory has some limitations because it is based on assumptions. For example, a firm's costs are based not only on factor costs, such as wages and materials, but also on the volume of production. Another limitation is that it ignores product and program differentiation; specifically, the ability to compete in national or international markets is only determined by its cost position? The actual product, program different iat ion and the effectiveness of the company is the more important to offer a competitive offerings.

The assumptions ofThe Comparative Advantage Theory:

(1)Assume that there are only two countries and two commodities (commodity X and Y) in the trade, this assumption is intended to use a plan to illustrate the theory.

(2)The two countries use the same technology in the production? That is to say, if the factor prices are same between the two countries, when the two countries produce the same goods, they will use the same amount of labor, So, every producer countries will use more low- price factors to reduce the production costs.

(3)The model only assumes that under conditions in barter, and not considered the complex circulation of commodities, and assume that a unit of X products are equivalent to a unit ofY products (their cost of production is different).

(4)In two countries, commodities and factor markets are perfectly competitive.

(5)Elements may free flow in one country, but may not flow between the nations.

(6)The production costs will not change after the division of lab or

(7)Not consider transaction costs and transportation costs, and there is no tariff and no other barriers to impact the development of international trade ?However, in the presence of trade conditions, when the relative commodity prices between the two countries are completely equal, the production division of labor between the two countries will stop. If there are transport costs and tarifls, while the difterence in relative prices between the two countries is less than the tariff in per unit of traded goods and transportation costs, the production division of labor between the two countries will stop ?

(8)The law of value in the market will be fully implemented. Free competition and free trade?

(9)Assume that the international economy is being in a static, there is no aspect to influence the division of labor and the economic change?

(10)The resources in the two countries have been iully utilized , there is no unused resources and elements?

(11)The bilateral trade is balanced, that is to say, the total Imports and the total

Exports are equal.

In conclusion, comparative advantage always determines the direction of trade, but both competitive and absolute advantage affect resource allocation, trade patterns and trade volumes. Absolute advantage in the sense of a uniform fall in home costs tends to raise home output in all sectors but also leads both countries to specialize less in accordance with comparative advantage? Competitive advantage in the sense of more home firms drives foreign firms out of marginal sectors but also makes some marginal home sectors uncompetitive. As a result, there is no reason to suppose that a country's comparative advantage will be static? If a country does what it has a comparative advantage in and sees its income grow as a result, it can atlord better education and infrastructure.

Inventory management Inventory Control On the so-called "inventory control", many people will interpret it as a "storage management", which is actually a big distortion. The traditional narrow view, mainly for warehouse inventory control of materials for inventory, data processing, storage, distribution, etc., through the implementation of anti-corrosion, temperature and humidity control means, to make the custody of the physical inventory to maintain optimum purposes. This is just a form of inventory control, or can be defined as the physical inventory control. How, then, from a broad perspective to understand inventory control? Inventory control should be related to the company's financial and operational objectives, in particular operating cash flow by optimizing the entire demand and supply chain management processes (DSCM), a reasonable set of ERP control strategy, and supported by appropriate information processing tools, tools to achieved in ensuring the timely delivery of the premise, as far as possible to reduce inventory levels, reducing inventory and obsolescence, the risk of devaluation. In this sense, the physical inventory control to achieve financial goals is just a means to control the entire inventory or just a necessary part; from the perspective of organizational functions, physical inventory control, warehouse management is mainly the responsibility of The broad inventory control is the demand and supply chain management, and the whole company's responsibility. Why until now many people's understanding of inventory control, limited physical inventory control? The following two reasons can not be ignored: First, our enterprises do not attach importance to inventory control. Especially those who benefit relatively good business, as long as there is money on the few people to consider the problem of inventory turnover. Inventory control is simply interpreted as warehouse management, unless the time to spend money, it may have been to see the inventory problem, and see the results are often very simple procurement to buy more, or did not do warehouse departments . Second, ERP misleading. Invoicing software is simple audacity to call it ERP, companies on their so-called ERP can reduce the number of inventory, inventory control, seems to rely on their small software can get. Even as SAP, BAAN ERP world, the field of

Statistical hypothesis testing Adriana Albu,Loredana Ungureanu Politehnica University Timisoara,adrianaa@aut.utt.ro Politehnica University Timisoara,loredanau@aut.utt.ro Abstract In this article,we present a Bayesian statistical hypothesis testing inspection, testing theory and the process Mentioned hypothesis testing in the real world and the importance of, and successful test of the Notes. Key words Bayesian hypothesis testing; Bayesian inference;Test of significance Introduction A statistical hypothesis test is a method of making decisions using data, whether from a controlled experiment or an observational study (not controlled). In statistics, a result is called statistically significant if it is unlikely to have occurred by chance alone, according to a pre-determined threshold probability, the significance level. The phrase "test of significance" was coined by Ronald Fisher: "Critical tests of this kind may be called tests of significance, and when such tests are available we may discover whether a second sample is or is not significantly different from the first."[1] Hypothesis testing is sometimes called confirmatory data analysis, in contrast to exploratory data analysis. In frequency probability, these decisions are almost always made using null-hypothesis tests. These are tests that answer the question Assuming that the null hypothesis is true, what is the probability of observing a value for the test statistic that is at [] least as extreme as the value that was actually observed?) 2 More formally, they represent answers to the question, posed before undertaking an experiment,of what outcomes of the experiment would lead to rejection of the null hypothesis for a pre-specified probability of an incorrect rejection. One use of hypothesis testing is deciding whether experimental results contain enough information to cast doubt on conventional wisdom. Statistical hypothesis testing is a key technique of frequentist statistical inference. The Bayesian approach to hypothesis testing is to base rejection of the hypothesis on the posterior probability.[3][4]Other approaches to reaching a decision based on data are available via decision theory and optimal decisions. The critical region of a hypothesis test is the set of all outcomes which cause the null hypothesis to be rejected in favor of the alternative hypothesis. The critical region is usually denoted by the letter C. One-sample tests are appropriate when a sample is being compared to the population from a hypothesis. The population characteristics are known from theory or are calculated from the population.

Strategies for distinctive brands Material Source: Journal of Brand Management Author:Judith Lynne Zaichkowsky ABSTRACT Brand identity complements brand equity and it forms an important part of the strategic management of brands. Identity elements include a well-known brand name, logo, font type, symbols, colour, shape, as well as unique product and benefit descriptions. These different elements can contribute to distinct consumer perceptions of various brands in the marketplace and help to differentiate brands from competitors. Brand managers need to start with a vision of what they want their brand to represent and then use the appropriate identity elements to build the brand. Some brand identity components may be influential to choice at the subconscious level of consumers, and therefore the understanding of individual psychological processes of perception and social meaning is required by brand managers. Keywords: brand equity ; brand identity ; logos ; brand names ; packaging INTRODUCTION Much literature in the area of branding has focused on brand equity and its importance to strong brands. Although everyone agrees that understanding and creating brand equity is essential for marketing, very little academic attention is paid to understanding the importance of brand identity and its relation to brand equity and brand management. Brand identity is the visual picture and meaning derived from the visual impact of the brand. For the consumer to identify brands with their respective manufacturers, the brands must be sold with distinctive features supplied by that particular manufacturer. Strong and unique links to one source is what complements and protects brands from being interchangeable in the marketplace. Brand differentiation, or identity, may be achieved through a well-known brand name, logo, typeface, symbol, colour, shape, distinctive design of the package or product, as well as product benefit descriptions known as unique selling points

Bernard For most of its lengthy history the field of international trade largely ignored the role of the firm in mediating the flow of goods and services. Traditional trade theory explained the flow of goods between countries in terms of comparative advantage, that is, variation in the opportunity costs of production across countries and industries. Even the research focusing on differentiated varieties and increasing returns to scale that followed Helpman and Krugman continued to retain the characterization of the representative firm.?However, the assumption of a representative firm, while greatly enhancing the tractability of general equilibrium analysis, is emphatically rejected in the data. My research over the past decade has been an attempt to explore international trade from below: to understand the decisions of heterogeneous firms in shaping international trade and their effects on productivity growth and welfare. Firm Heterogeneity and Trade My early work with J. Bradford Jensen was motivated by a simple question: what do we know about firms that trade? The answer at the time was "very little" and our initial efforts focused on locating firm-level data and describing the world of exporting firms. Our first study compared exporters and non-exporters for the entire U.S. manufacturing sector and established a set of facts about exporting plants and firms.?Two major results stand out. First, only a small fraction of firms are exporters at any given time. Even in sectors where the United States is thought to have comparative advantage, such as Instruments, a majority of firms produce only for the domestic market. Similarly, some firms are exporting even in net import sectors such as Textiles and Apparel. Second, exporters are substantially and significantly different than non-exporters, even in the same industry and region. Exporters are dramatically larger, more productive, pay higher wages, use more skilled workers, and are more technology- and capital-intensive than their non-exporting counterparts. In related

International trade documents and the use of import and export trade program closely related, the documents in the import and export enterprise work throughout the export, purchase, transportation, the whole process of the proceeds, the effort is big, timeliness strong, is broad, in addition to import and export enterprise internal between various departments the cooperation with the outside, still must and bank, customs, transportation department, insurance companies, the inspection and quarantine agencies and the relevant administrative authorities happen various contact, linked together, mutual influence, also are conditions. International trade documents for the performance of a contract is necessary means International trade is the transnational goods business, due to the particularity of the multinational business, which is the purchase and sale of the different departments are located in different countries, are remote, in most cases, the goods and payment can't perform simple direct exchange, but only as the medium of exchange with documents means. The international trade of the documents that sales of goods through the documents realization sale, the seller should not only will the actual delivery of goods export shipment, and should submit to the buyer include the title to the goods vouchers, complete documents to show real assignment. The seller/p means that the delivery of the goods, and the buyer payment is get to buy goods on behalf of property rights certificate, the deal is no longer with the goods as the core, but with documents as the core. Documents and payment of the convection principle has become the international trade of general principles of the commodity business. As international trade experts "; m Cardiff in the export trade in his book mentioned: "from a business perspective, can say CIF the purpose of the contract is not the buying and selling of goods itself, but the documents relating to the goods business." What say here "documents" is the international trade of documents. International trade documents many kinds, every kind of documents has its

Object landscapes and lifetimes Tech nically, OOP is just about abstract data typing, in herita nee, and polymorphism, but other issues can be at least as importa nt. The rema in der of this sect ion will cover these issues. One of the most importa nt factors is the way objects are created and destroyed. Where is the data for an object and how is the lifetime of the object con trolled? There are differe nt philosophies at work here. C++ takes the approach that con trol of efficie ncy is the most importa nt issue, so it gives the programmer a choice. For maximum run-time speed, the storage and lifetime can be determined while the program is being written, by placing the objects on the stack (these are sometimes called automatic or scoped variables) or in the static storage area. This places a priority on the speed of storage allocatio n and release, and con trol of these can be very valuable in some situati ons. However, you sacrifice flexibility because you must know the exact qua ntity, lifetime, and type of objects while you're writing the program. If you are trying to solve a more general problem such as computer-aided desig n, warehouse man ageme nt, or air-traffic con trol, this is too restrictive. The sec ond approach is to create objects dyn amically in a pool of memory called the heap. In this approach, you don't know un til run-time how many objects you n eed, what their lifetime is, or what their exact type is. Those are determined at the spur of the moment while the program is runnin g. If you n eed a new object, you simply make it on the heap at the point that you n eed it. Because the storage is man aged dyn amically, at run-time, the amount of time required to allocate storage on the heap is sig ni fica ntly Ion ger tha n the time to create storage on the stack. (Creat ing storage on the stack is ofte n a si ngle assembly in structio n to move the stack poin ter dow n, and ano ther to move it back up.) The dyn amic approach makes the gen erally logical assumpti on that objects tend to be complicated, so the extra overhead of finding storage and releas ing that storage will not have an importa nt impact on the creati on of an object .In additi on, the greater flexibility is esse ntial to solve the gen eral program ming problem. Java uses the sec ond approach, exclusive". Every time you want to create an object, you use the new keyword to build a dyn amic in sta nee of that object. There's ano ther issue, however, and that's the lifetime of an object. With Ian guages that allow objects to be created on the stack, the compiler determines how long the object lasts and can automatically destroy it. However, if you create it on the heap the compiler has no kno wledge of its lifetime. In a Ianguage like C++, you must determine programmatically when to destroy the
