我们再来看一下其余几个时态：A 选项是 were waving ——过去进行时，它指的是：① 过去某一时辰正在进行 ; ②过去某一阶段正在进行 ;B.waved——过去时，过去某时间发生的且已完成的动作，因此我们知道 A 和B 这两个时态都是和过去相关，而和此刻是没有一点关系的，因此 A 和 B 这两个答案错了。
C.had waved——过去达成时：过去某一时辰或某一动作前达成的动作或状态，那么它所表达的时候是在过去的过去，比如：e.g. Bythe end of last year, we had built 5 new schools. 到昨年年末为止，我们已经建筑了 5 所学校。

介词后面一般不直接接that引导的宾语从句，只有少数几个如：except, but, in等。其它介词后面须加it作形式宾语，才可再接that宾语从句。

动词find, feel, think, consider, make, believe等后有宾语补足语时，需要it作形式宾语，而that从句则后置。动词hate, like ,dislike, love, appreciate, prefer, take--for granted表示“喜欢”“厌恶”“认为”时，要用it作形式宾语，而将宾语从句后置。

名词性从句中if/ whether的使用：
表示“是否”时，在宾语从句中作动词后的宾语，且后面无or not两者可替换。
介词后宾语从句,动词后宾语从句有or not或者引导表语从句、同位语从句、主语从句均用whether.
