（二）中考完形填空材料的选取1.完形填空题的体裁多为记叙文。

2.所选的文章一般是200词左右的短文，简练生动，流畅易懂。

第3题考查几个短语的辨析：at once 立刻at last 最终by then 到那时on time 准时第4题从上下句可以看出，因为没了一条腿，所以他不能正常行走，故选walk第5题要熟悉英语的习惯用法，即“做某件事”这里用do, 相应的过去完成时用had done第6题从文意可判断国王问烤鹅的另一只腿去哪儿了，另一只这里用the other,表示“两者中的另一个”第7题这里part可指区域、地区。

第8题当鹅跑的时候，它会放下另一只脚。

“放下”这里用put down第9题show 这里是“表明、说明”的意思第10题通过阅读全文我们知道这个农民想说的是：当人被追赶时，会渴望多长两条腿以便在逃跑时可以跑的更快。

多长两条腿，这里用more。

（三）完形填空主要考查以下三方面：1.词汇意义：主要考查在整体理解文意的基础上对词义的判断。

考查特点是：各选项孤立地放在句中，句子在语法上均成立，有时意义也成立，但我们必须从整体出发，通过上下文来推断出最恰当的选项。

【例题】It took Charlie several months to save up seven dollars. He wanted to a model plane and went to the shop with the money.A.sellB.buyC.holdD.bring思路分析：考查动词辨析，从上句的意思我们知道Charlie是在攒钱，后面又有他拿着钱去商店，由此我们知道Charlie想买模型飞机，故选B.2.语法：孤立地考查语法知识的选项很少，但每个选项中的词或词组都以一定的语法形式存在，由此有些选项既考词义、又考语法，即语义辨析语语法结构一起考查。

【例题】Mr.Evans is an old man of about sixty. His wife died a few years ago. His children him by then.A.leftB.would leaveC.have leftD.had left答案：D思路分析：个选项都有“离开”之意，但仔细看题干有by then, 表示过去的时间“在那之前”，这里要用过去完成时，由此应选D.had left3.上下文理解：文章的脉络和特定的上下文对词与词、句与句之间的逻辑关系都有限定性，由此，“完形填空”也特别注意从上下文理解的角度进行考查，这主要是两个方面：上下文暗示和上下文限定。

（四）完形填空解题策略1.要坚持语意第一的原则，语法应放于第二位；2.要认真注意细节，特别是环境和心理的描写；3.根据所给选项中的不同词类，从不同角度分别考虑选择；4.阅读时注意文章语境的融入，不要加入个人的感情色彩；5.不要断章取义，要注重上下句、上下文的关联及对文章整体的理解。
