RQD014r01ENG Rev. Date: 2018-09-10Rehab Shower Commode ChairsRaz-AP600/SP600User & DealerManualIt is important that the Raz Rehab Shower Chair be properly assembled and that all adjustments be made carefully. Please ensure that the user(s), dealer(s) and attendant(s) have read this manual and thoroughly understood the safe operation of the Raz Shower Chair. Up-to-date manuals are available online For clarification of any section of this manual, contact your distributor or the manufacturer.CHAIR CLASSIFICATION BASED ON MAXIMUM USER WEIGHTAP600 / SP600 600 lbs (272 kg)THIS DEVICE IS SUITABLE FOR TYPE A; HIGH USAGE (e.g. INSTITUTIONS) AND SHOULD NEVER BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN ORIGINALLY INTENDEDForward StabilityThe casters on all models are equipped with dual-locks. The step-onlever activates both the roll lock and the swivel lock. It is essentialthat all casters on the shower chair be in an outward positionbefore engaging the locks for optimal forward and lateralstability. If so equipped, disengage the optional directional casterlock before rotating the rear caster to the rearward position andapplying the caster’s dual-locks.USERS MUST NOT lean forward while sitting in the Raz ShowerChair as this may cause the chair to tip forward.USERS MUST NOT wheel down a ramp without an attendant whocan hold onto the chair during the descent.CASTER LOCKS ARE NOT BRAKES! Never use caster locksto slow down the shower chair when descending inclines asthis could cause the chair to tip in the direction of travel.Lateral StabilityUSERS MUST NOT lean over the edge of a Raz Shower Chair asthis could cause the chair to tip.USERS MUST NOT attempt to pick up objects from the floor byleaning over and reaching – use a reacher or ask for assistance froman attendant.USERS MUST NOT position the Raz Shower Chair on a side slopeas this could cause it to tip.Rearward StabilityUSERS MUST NOT wheel up an incline on a SP600 Model withoutensuring that the optional rear anti-tippers are in place. The optionalanti-tippers must be ordered with the Raz-SP600 and properlyinstalled before wheeling on uneven surfaces.Anti-Tippers – SP600 ModelAnti-tippers are an option for the Raz-SP600 Shower Chairs. Theseare recommended whenever the chairs are to be used on unevensurfaces such as ramps or sloped floors, when used by lower-limbamputees, when the rear wheels are moved forward from thefactory-set position or for any situations when rearward stability iscompromised.Ramps and Other InclinesRamps and other surfaces that are not level (such as slopes intowheel-in showers) must be tested with an attendant to ensurethat they don’t compromise the chair’s stability. A qualifiedhealthcare professional should be consulted to assist with thisprocess.DO NOT push or pull the Raz-AP600 up or down an incline orramp that exceeds a 1:12 grade (5° slope).DO NOT allow any user to be propelled (pushed or pulled) in aRaz-AP600 Shower Chair in any other manner than by an attendant.ImmersionThe Raz Shower Chair is not designed to be used as a pool chair. Donot immerse the shower chair in whole or in part, in water or any otherliquid. Damage to the shower chair components may result.TransfersThe most dangerous part of using any shower chair is the transfer. Since every chair has different stability characteristics, it is essential to carefully review and test the transfer technique to ensure that the procedure is safe. Test transfers should be performed with an attendant who can prevent the chair from tipping or moving during the transfer. If you feel that the transfers cannot be repeatedly performed safely, contact a healthcare professional who is familiar with transfer techniques and options. Individuals who have not learned safe transfer skills must seek assistance during transfers and may require the use of a mechanical lift.Transferring onto a Raz-AP600 Shower ChairALWAYS lock all four casters in their outward position (frontcasters positioned in the forward position/rear casters positioned to the rear) for maximum chair stability.Transferring onto a Raz-SP600 Shower ChairALWAYS lock both front casters in their outward position (positioned forward) and fully apply both wheel locks so that they securely engage the rear wheels. The wheel locks are designed to prevent the self-propelling wheels from rotating. The dual-locks on the casters are designed to prevent the casters from rotating and the caster forks from swiveling. Caster locks and wheel locks DO NOT and CANNOT prevent the shower chair from sliding/moving if the floor is slippery. A slippery floor can be caused by dust, water, soap or any substance that does not allow the casters/rear wheels to grip the floor securely.Transfers should never be attempted with the shower chair positioned on slippery surfaces. It is recommended that transfers be performed on clean, dry, non-slippery surfaces. Hard surface flooring such as tile, wood or concrete may not provide sufficient grip to keep locked casters and/or rear wheels from sliding. A fully-carpeted surface is optimal. Be aware that area rugs and shower mats can slide on floors and thereby present a hazardous surface.DO NOT stand on any part of the frame of the Raz Shower Chair.NEVER use the footplates to assist in transfers. This could cause the chair to tip. The footrests should be swung to the side or removed entirely during transfers to provide unobstructed access to the shower chair. The Raz Shower Chair is NOT intended for use as a transportation device or a long-term seating system.USER &DEALER MANUAL TABLE OF CONTENTS1.0GENERAL INFORMATION1.1 Raz-AP600/SP600 Rehab Shower Chairs Overview (7)1.2 Raz-AP600/SP600 Rehab Shower Chairs Specifications (7)2.0SET-UP: INTENDED FOR DEALER USE ONLY2.1 Backrest Installation (8)2.2 Raz Seat Installation (8)2.3 Caster Installation (9)2.4 Wheel Installation With Standard Axle Bolt – SP600 Model (9)2.5 Adjustable Footrest Installation (10)2.6 Fastener Installation (10)3.0ADJUSTMENTS: INTENDED FOR DEALER USE ONLY3.1 Backrest Adjustment (11)3.1.1 Backrest Angle Adjustment (11)3.1.2 Adjustable-Tension Back Upholstery Adjustment (11)3.2 Molded Seat Adjustment (11)3.3 Seat-To-Floor Height Adjustment (12)3.3.1 Seat-To-Floor Height Adjustment – AP600 Model (12)3.3.2 Seat-To-Floor Height Adjustment – Front Casters of SP600 Model (12)3.3.3 Seat-To-Floor Height Adjustment – Rear Wheels of SP600 Model (12)3.4 Fore/Aft Adjustment of Rear Wheels – SP600 Model (13)3.5 Wheel Lock Adjustment – SP600 Model (13)3.6 Adjustable Footrest Adjustment (13)4.0 USE AND OPERATION4.1 Adjustable-Tension Back Upholstery (14)4.2 Molded Seat (14)4.3 Casters (15)4.4 Adjustable Footrests (16)4.5 Wheel Locks – SP600 Model (16)4.6 Commode Pan (16)5.0 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE5.1 Cleaning After Each Use (17)5.1.1 Commode Pan (17)5.1.2 Molded Seat (17)5.2 Cleaning As Needed (17)5.2.1 Adjustable-Tension Back Upholstery (17)5.2.2 Frame, Armrests, Adjustable Footrests, and Other Components (17)5.3 Suggested Cleaning Products (17)6.0 LIMITED WARRANTY (18)7.0 CONTACTS (19)1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION1.1 Raz-AP600/SP600 Rehab Shower Chairs Overview1.2 Raz-AP600/SP600 Rehab Shower Chairs SpecificationsSPECIFICATIONS Raz-AP600 Raz-SP600 WEIGHT CAPACITY 600 lbs (275 kg) 600 lbs (275 kg) FRAME WIDTH(seat and back frames)22” (56cm) 22” (56cm) OVERALL WIDTH 26.5” (67cm) 30” (76cm) OVERALL LENGTH(with footrests)36” (91cm) 40” (101.5cm) SEAT WIDTH (commode seat) 23” (58cm) 23” (58cm) SEAT DEPTH(front of back post to front of seat)18” (46cm) 18” (46cm) CLEARANCE HEIGHT5” casters with pan brackets: 5” casters without pan brackets: 6” casters with pan brackets: 6” casters without pan brackets: 14.25”-18.25” (36-46cm)15”-19” (38-49cm)15.25”-19.25” (39-49cm)16”-20” (41-51cm)15.25”, 16.25” (39cm, 41cm)16”, 17” (40.5cm, 43cm)16.25”, 17.25”, 20.25” (41cm, 44cm 51.5cm)17”, 18”, 21” (43cm, 46cm , 53cm)ARMREST HEIGHT ABOVE SEAT 9.5” (24cm) 9.5” (24cm)SEAT-TO-FLOOR HEIGHT 19”-23” in 1” increments(48-58cm)5” casters: 20”, 21” (51cm, 53cm)6” casters: 20”, 21”, 24” (51cm, 53cm, 61cm)PRODUCT WEIGHT (with footrests)With 5” casters: With 6” casters:54.5 lbs (25 kg)56.5 lbs (26.7 kg)68 lbs (30.9 kg)69 lbs (31.3kg)FRAME AND HARDWAREMATERIALStainless Steel (Lifetime warranty against corrosion) MINIMUM TURNING CIRCLE 41.5” (105 cm) 64” (163 cm)over the rear cross tubes as theis lowered onto the frame.

LEARN ABOUT YOUR LIGHT TOWERThis section will show you how to identify key parts of your light tower. Going over the terminology below will make sure we’re on the same page. 2.1 COMPONENT IDENTIFICATION OutriggerCircuit BreakerSteering Brake pedal WinchLED LampMast Brake3. OPERATION3.1 WINCHING THE MAST UP AND DOWNRotate the winch clockwise to raise the mast, rotate it counter-clockwise to lower the mast. The winch is self-locking and will remain at the height it is winched to. The winch is also assisted on the way down so the tower will come down smoothly.Once the mast is raised to the top of its height, use the pin to lock it in place. To winch the mast down pull out the pin and slowly begin to turn the winch counter-clockwise to lower the tower.WARNING!Do not use the light tower in high winds! Serious damage or personal injury may occur.NOTEAlways operate the unit on level ground and deploy the outriggers for additional stability when raising the mast.Do not lower the tower past the retracted position, this may damage the cable if too much slack is created. Stop winching as soon as you detectthe tower is no longer moving lower.3.2 BRAKESTo lock the brakes, firmly push down the brake lever with your foot until it is fully de-pressed then pull it towards the back of the tower to lock it into place. To release the brakes, push the brake pedal in and away from the back of the tower until it unlocks and returns to its original position.3.3 OUTRIGGERSPull the outrigger from the travel position to the back of the tower’s base. The outriggers must be deployed for stability whenever the mast is raised above its retracted position. To return the outrigger to the travel position, rotate the locking plate out of the way which will allow the outrigger to be lifted and returned to the travel position.3.4 STEERINGThe steering handle controls the direction of the front wheels. Turn the handle left or right to steer the front wheels left or right.4. TURN ON THE FLOODLIGHTS1. Plug the light tower into an external power source (a generator forexample).2. Flip the circuit breaker to the ON position and check to make sure all lampscome on. Allow a minimum of 2 minutes for the lamps to reach fullluminance.3. Adjust the vertical height as desired.Be sure to read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the safe usage of any power source. Failure to do so may result in seriouspersonal injury or damages.5. TURN OFF THE FLOODLIGHTS1. Flip the circuit breaker to the OFF position to shut down the lights.2. Then shut down the external power source and unplug the light tower.Allow the lamps to cool for at least 20 minutes before moving the tower to avoid breaking the lamps6. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE TRANSPORTATIONAllow the floodlights to cool for at least 20 minutes before transporting. STORAGEAllow the light tower to cool for at least 20 minutes before storing if it has been in use.Clean the light tower before storing in a dry location.7. WINCH MAINTENANCECheck the condition of the winch and winch cable for wear. Ensure it is running true and adjust or replace as necessary. DO NOT use a cablethat is kinked, has weld splatter, or is starting to show signs of wear.Replace immediately. A snapped cable can cause the tower to ‘freefall’which can be deadly for anyone standing underneath it.8. TROUBLESHOOTINGSymptom Possible Cause & CorrectionFloodlights Will Not Turn On Lamps are too hot. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before restarting.Faulty lamp connection. Check all lamp connections and wires are connectedcorrectly and tightly. The plug is loose or damaged.Circuit breaker is damaged or defective. 3.

• 加长探头 UR 600-IR 2000/ER/EF-A • 加长探头 UR 600-UV 2000/ER/EF-A
