Before oil impregnation Maintenance Free Linear GuidesC-Lube technology keeps linear motion components lubricated—so you don’t have to!Walk through any plant that uses linear motion systems, and you can often see maintenance workers, grease gun in hand, applying lubrication to linear guides. And why shouldn’t they. Under-lubricated guides can wear excessively, which leads to performance problems and premature failure. These labor-intensive lubrication practices, however, do not come cheap. We estimate that manual lubrication can cost upwards of €500 per grease fitting when you consider the cost of the lubricant itself and the wages of the guy with the grease gun. And that figure doesn’t begin to capture the total cost of manual lubrication when you consider that many grease fittings are difficult to access and service without triggering some downtime. It doesn’t have to be that way. There are a number of linear guides that offer at least some freedom from lubrication routines. You will hear them described as “lubed for life” or “maintenance free” or “self lubricating.”These reduced maintenance guides typically have mechanical designs with provisions for storing and delivering lubricant over long periods of time. To varying degrees, they can drastically reduce or even eliminate the need to apply lubricant beyond what is present when the bearing goes into service.Unlike automated lubrication systems, which can be complex and costly, maintenance free bearings tend to rely on simple, integrated mechanical features in the bearing slider to store and deliver the oil.Various takes on maintenance free guides and ways have been around for years now, but not all of them are created equal. Some focus on achieving the longest possible maintenance free intervals. Others focus on a compact design that adds as little as possible to the size of the bearing’s mechanical package.’s C-Lube linear components have unique designs that balance long service life with compact size. These long-term maintenance free linear motion products comein different forms—including roller guides, ball guides and a ball-spline-based shaft guiding system. They range in size from small, 5mm-wide track rails to 65mm-wide guides that offer a basic static load rating of 765,000 N.Despite the outward differences in these products, they all make use of ’s proprietary C-Lube lubricating elements. Made from sintered resin powder witha steel backing, these C-Lube elements have an open porous structure that canbe impregnated with large amounts of oil (see Figure 1). Depending on the type of linear guide, the C-Lube elements are formed into either a plate or sleeve shapeand integrated into the bearing’s slider. They then release the impregnated oil slowly through direct, continual contact with the linear guide’s internal rolling elements. While thegeometryof thelubricatingelement differsdepending on the type ofguide, in no case doesC-Lube increase the overalldimensions of the guide. In other words, self-lubrication capabilities, at least forproducts, do not increasethe package size of the guide.Because all the C-Lube guides offer the same maintenance free interval, the choice between them comes down to functional requirements such as the type of load and duty cycle. With that in mind, here’s an overview of the different C-Lube variants:•R oller Guides - Designed for applications requiring maximum stiffness and resistance to moment loads, the Linear Roller Way Super MX guides feature a slider that operatesC-Lube Linear WayExternal Lubrication partsIntegrated C-Lube Conventional linear guide T r a c k R a i l S l i d e u n i t s t r o k e d i r e c t i on Cylindrical Rollers C-LubeFor more information on ’s full range of bearings and linear motion products please visit www.ikont.eu or call +31 10 462 68 68• B all-Spline Guides - C-Lube Ball Spline MAG guidesincorporate an internal oil-impregnated plate-shaped element. As the balls traverse over the C-Lube plate, they pick up oil which lubricates both the balls and the spline shaft—again protecting against metal-on-metal contact.• B all Guides - Familiar ball guides, which run on recirculating steel balls, take on a new twist when combined with C-Lube technology. In C-Lube Linear Ways, the steel balls roll through a sleeve made from the C-Lube material. As the balls travel through the sleeve, they pick up oil themselves and alsotransfer it to the rail as they come in contact with it. At all times, the balls and rail remain free from any metal-on-metal contact due to a film of lubricant provided bythe C-Lube feature.2016 N T E /A v R。

The valve is designed for use in ANSI Class 150 or 300 service applications with temperatures ranging from -20° to 650° F / -30° to 345° C.In addition to its high thrust, the reversible actuator is compact. An optional integral I/P or P/P positioner ensures high positioning accuracy proportional to the valve instrument signal. The integrally mounted posi-tioner eliminates external tubing requirements, reduces pinch points and keeps moving parts safe from external dirt and damage. Reversing the actuator does not require positioner, tubing changes or extras parts. The actuator accepts air supply pressures up to 60 psig / 4 Barg allowing the valve to shutoff against high-pressure drops. Different spring-sets are available to meet individual application requirements. Removing the reversible actuator from the valve is easy with the unique yoke design and yoke clamps. Many of the standard Mark One valve features are included in the Trooper general service valve including heavy duty, stem guides; self-centering, clamped-in seat ring; raised face integral flanges, multiple trim reductions and easy top-entry valve accessibility. The Trooper valve is available in 1, 11/2, 2, 3 and 4-inch valve sizes and with carbon steel or stainless steel bodies. Valve sizes 1 through 2-inch are also available in socketweld or NPT end connections. The Trooper control valve is the solution for most general-service applications.TMGeneral Service Control ValvesValtek TrooperFeatures & Advantages3Valtek Trooper Options / Flow Capacity4Valtek TrooperTechnical DataTable III: Actuator Data3 lbs / 1.4 kg for I/P positioner.5Valtek Trooper* Per ANSI/ISA S75.03, 1985; ANSI/ISA S75.12, 1987. The armrest can then be turned up for the client and folded up .• Always protect the client when folding the armrests up or down .• The armrests can also be used as a support when taking a seat or standing up . Be aware that the armrests are not locked in all positions .Option: Armrest with dual locking (Article number: 68405661).• The extra lock ensures that the front closure is also locked when turned away (See figure 7) .When folding the armrest away, avoid the hinging point so as to avoid becoming jammed. When folding the armrests away, avoid fingers or body parts becoming jammed between the armrest and the back support. The armrest or front closure must not be used as a lever arm (e.g. when moving the chair over an obstacle) or as a push / pull bar. You must not sit on it either. This could damage the Flexo and / or present a hazard.Figure 7 Armrest turned out .Figure 6Armrest with dual locking .Figure 5 Armrest .The Flexo does not fit over every toilet.3.5.2. Use of a bedpan or bucket• If the Flexo is being used as a toilet chair, the specialguides under the seat can be used to accommodate astainless steel / plastic bedpan or bucket .• Slide the bedpan or bucket in from the back of the chair(See figure 10) .In order to avoid injuries, we advise the carer toremove the lid from the seat and insert the bucket orbedpan before the client takes a seat on the chair.4. Cleaning and maintenanceThe Flexo must be cleaned after every use, with water and regular household cleaning agents . Remove excess soap residues . PUR integrated foam components with IMC coating should be rubbed clean and disinfected . Do not use any abrasive or other aggressive cleaning products (e .g . chlorine bleach) . Practical experience has shown that regular household cleaning agents with limited alcohol content (max . 5%) are most suitable for this purpose . The product Neoquat combi ® is recommended for disinfection purposes (on the basis of long-term testing) . If necessary, the PUR components can be cleaned with a solution of 70% ethanol or propanol .You must ensure that both the disinfecting and cleaning processes involve the compo-nents being rubbed and not just submerged . The time the products must be left on the components has a significant impact upon the lifespan of the PUR components . As a result of the material properties of PUR, contact with sharp objects must be avoided . This could lead to damage or tears in the material . Finally, we would like to point out that non-criti-cal parts of the PUR components must also be cleaned and decontaminated .Check the wheels regularly for hairs, dust and soap residues and remove when necessary . Maintenance and repairs to the Flexo may only be carried out by authorised personnel .Figure 10 Bedpan .6. Removal of partsAll parts that are replaced or removed can be sent back to Lopital BV . You may also offer the parts to the engineer for destruction . We will ensure that all parts are processed in an environmentally-friendly manner .7.
