新概念英语家长必读

尊敬的家长:

您好!首先感谢您对乐清新概念英语学校的信任,并恭喜您的孩子成为乐清新概念英语的学员。我们坚信,在老师、家长、孩子三方的共同努力配合下,您的孩子一定会快乐并飞速进步着,现有相关事宜和您沟通如下:

1.请保证学员的出勤:至少提前5分钟到教室,不要迟到、早退或旷课。如有特殊情况,请家长事先向学校或任课教师请假,否则不予以补课。每学期补课不得超过3次,将安排在上课前或下课后的半小时。

1、我校教师将通过微信定期和您进行沟通,汇报您孩子的情况,敬请关注。

1 报名学员在第一次课后不再办理退费。

2 开放课制度:每期有2-3次家长会,家长如无特殊情况请按时参加家长开放课,和学生一起上课,了解学生课堂情况。具体时间到时通知,如不能参加,请通知老师。

4 每学期老师至少会进行两次电话回访,和家长沟通孩子学习情况。家长也可以不定期的和老师沟通。

5 每次作业后请家长给孩子签字。老师会经常在作业本上写批语,家长有什么问题也可以写在作业本上。

6 每次课的最后10-15分钟,老师会检查孩子上次课的单词和课文背

诵,单词听写从作业本的最后一页写起。课文背诵情况会写在每篇课文的题目旁边。请家长查阅。

An American team explored a temple which stands in an ancient city on the promontory of Ayia Irini. The city at one time must have been prosperous, for it enjoyed a high level of civilization. Houses -- often three storeys high -- were built of stone. They had large rooms with beautifully decorated walls. The city was equipped with a drainage system, for a great many clay pipes were found beneath the narrow streets. The temple which the archaeologists explored was used as a place of worship from the fifteenth century B.C. until Roman times. In the most sacred room of temple, clay fragments of fifteen statues were found. Each of these represented a goddess and had, at one time, been painted. The body of one statue was found among remains dating from the fifteenth century B.C. It's missing head happened to be among remains of the fifth century B.C. This head must have been found in Classical times and carefully preserved. It was very old and precious even then. When the archaeologists reconstructed the fragments, they were amazed to find that the goddess turned out to be a very modern-looking woman. She stood three feet high and her hands rested on her hips. She was wearing a full-length skirt which swept the ground. Despite her great age, she was very graceful indeed, but, so far, the archaeologists have been unable to discover her identity. 1.
