喜来登酒店项目设计方案第1章企业概况主要介绍本章喜来登酒店的行业背景、企业概况、企业宗旨、企业发展趋势、企业具备管理信息系统的条件1.1行业背景1983年进入中国市场，在中国有20家酒店，在建17家。
在华酒店为委托管理、特许经营及有选择的带资管理，在中国已营业的酒店分布在大都市和著名旅游城市，其中北京有两家，重庆超五星一家，其他的在上海、浙江、广东、贵阳、天津、安徽、湖南、福建、山东、黑龙江、沈阳、长春、四川、锦江、桂林、西安、常州、无锡、南京、苏州、镇江、三亚、惠州等地。
2003年12月7日，喜来登管理公司就在长沙开店与运达国际广场签约，五星级的运达喜来登国际大酒店计划在2006年完工。
2004年3月21日，喜来登酒店集团于大中华国际（深圳）有限公司正式签约，大中华国际交易广场的酒店部分交由喜来登酒店集团统一管理，从而使全国最大的单体建筑—建筑面积达30多万平方米的大中华国际交易广场进入实质启动阶段，将在2005年全面投入使用。
大中华国际交易广场在建筑上和项目硬件上，无论是空间、立面设计、还是幕墙、电梯、空调设备、包括中心区首个直升机空中停机坪，全部是世界级水平的，目的是为跨国企业、世界500强进入市场打造一个超一流平台。
喜来登在中国的许多大城市都有据点分布，如香港有九龙尖沙咀喜来登酒店；台湾有台北喜来登大饭店；内地则是不胜枚举，例如北京长城喜来登，中山喜来登酒店，上海太平洋喜来登等。
喜来登在香港的据点只有一家，不过围位在尖沙咀的精华区，就在半岛酒店隔壁。
台北的喜来登位在忠孝东路一段，邻近台北市中心以及交通枢纽台北车站，而喜来登也是一家在台北市之外的地区开设旅馆的外资企业，包括中和的福朋喜来登以及将于2007年开幕的宜兰喜来登。
喜来登在内地的投资相当可观，所拥有旅馆据点数目并不亚于第一个进入中国的外资连锁旅馆万豪集团。
喜来登除了在沿海城市如北京、上海、厦门、苏州、中山设有据点之外；在内陆城市也有旅馆分布，如重庆、成都、西安、桂林甚至是乌鲁木齐都有。

亨德森于1967年9月6日离开世界，但是他的“十诫”依然长 留人间：
