教学目标

Language goal:1,describe people’s looks

2,learn some new words about people’s looks and expressions

教学重点与难点

1，掌握描写人物外貌的词汇和基本句型

2，描述人物的身高，体重，头发和胡须等外貌特征

3，如何为自己及他人塑造新的形象，并作一介绍。

教学过程

Step1 T:How mang people are there in your family?

S: There are…… They are ……

T: Can you say something about them

S: …….

(Then the teacher asks another students to answer the questions like this )

利用多媒体课件呈现家庭照，导入新课

T: I think you all have a happy family. Me too.I also have a happy family .Do you want to know them?

S: Yes.

T: Do you know what they lool like ?

S: No.

T: Look,this is my family photo ,Let’s meet them one by one . (Show a phota of my family)

Step2 New words

Hair (short, long,curly,straight,blonde,golden,black,brown)

Tall/short

Thin/fat /heavy

Medium height/ medium build

Step3 New drills

T:I have long curly hair I’m tall and medium build,What do you look like?

S:I have…..and I’m….

T: Now Let’s make a suivey about “What do you look like?”work in groups of four and fill in the chart ,Then I’ll ask some students to report it

1,Do you like your look now? Desige your new look
