从学生的素养发展目标出发，我们可以将话题定位在学生对时间的深度认知上，从感知时间的重要性，到如何合理把握时间、有效管理时间，引导学生成为学习和生活的主人。
本课时的教学内容是第一课时，包含PartA Let’s talk&Let’s learn。
主题定为：John’s day。
在教学过程中结合主题，学生年龄段特点对教学内容稍作删减与补充。

课标要求第四册的学习是由一级目标向二级目标的过渡，因此相比第三册Read and write 加大了语言的输入量，增加了与各单元的密切相关话题。
不仅复习巩固了本单元的主要词汇，还扩展了语言，教师在讲解时不要逐字逐句释义，学生能根据插图了解会话意义即可重点应用在四会单词和句子上。
要逐渐培养学生良好的书写习惯，鼓励学生替换句型中的关键词语造新句，以达到灵活运用熟练掌握的目的，为五、六年级集中学习组句做好准备。
