如动词、名词、形容词、副词、代词、名词性从句（4种）、状语从句（9种、定语从句等都是高考中必考或常考的语法项目。
词法中动词为重中之重，因为动词包括十多种时态、语态、虚拟语气、情态动词、非谓语动词等。
仅动词一项，在高考单项选择这一项中，考到与动词相关内容的题目要占到一半以上。
了解到高考重点的语法项目之后，重点理清弄透这些语法项目，同时将这些互相有联系又有区别的语法放在一起整理、归纳，使之条理化、规律化。

Two young men hunted for jobs together， one Englishman，the other Jew．
A coin lay on the ground．The English young man went on without looking but the Jewish young man picked it up excitedly．
The English young man scorned the Jewish young man，thinking：what a good-for-nothing，even picking up a coin！
Watching the English young man from behind，the Jewish young man sighed with emotion in his heart，what a good-for-nothing，letting the money slip away from him！
The two men walked into a company at the same time．The company was so small that any employee had to work hard at a low salary，but the English young man was pleased to stay．
Two years later，the two men met on the street，when the Jewish young man had become a boss but the British young man was still looking for a job．The English young man was puzzled and said，
“You were so unpromising，how can you get rich so quickly？”
The Jewish young man said，“Because I didn’t stride over one coin like a gentleman as you. You even didn’t want a coin，so how will you make a fortune?” The English young man did want money，but what he was staring at the pound instead of the penny， so his money was always in future．It was the answer to the question．
