The lesson today focuses on the topic of how to enforce the students’ listening ability, introducing some basic strategies in dealing with the listening test for Senior High School Entrance Examination . Besides, some questions from the past test paper are brought in to help students better understand how this part in the Senior High School Entrance Examination works. Above all, both teachers and students are supposed to keep in mind :

1.Listening Test usually focuses on the students’identifying and understanding

abilities with English language by means of mini-talks, dialogues and monologues;

2.Materials in the test paper are derived from daily life, covering different topics

like: Thanks and responses, Good wishes, congratulations and responses, Apologies and responses, Emotions, offering advice,…and so on. This calls for much attention on everyday teaching and learning both for students and teachers to unit topics and functional English;

3.Questions for passage themes, facts and details, and for simple logic deduction are

usually preferred.

中考英语听力复习策略 一、对我市近几年中考听力的分析 中考英语试题主要分为:听力部分和笔试部分。总分120分。听力题占卷面总分的四分之一。对近年来贺州市的中考英语听力试题进行了分析和归纳,听力试题一般分为,“选图画、快速情景应答、对话理解、短文理解”四大类。试题依据循序渐进的原则,从听句子,选图画到快速情景应答,短对话、长对话到独白或短文,层层深入,由浅入深,由易到难,考查的重点放在理解上。题型内容涉及面广,并和生活实际相关。听力材料是日常生活中大家所熟悉的情景。常涉及的内容有;日常生活,文化教育、风土人情等。常见话题有;问路、看病、打电话、购物、邀请、助人为乐、谈论天气、询问时间等内容。 听力试题第一节为听句子,选图画。主要考查学生的语音和词汇,学生在这一部分比较容易的得分。第二节的听句子选答语,需要学生对英语国家的语言文化、习俗背景的了解,以及掌握一些习惯用法和语法知识。在这五题中学生丢分的较多。原因在于句子相对比较简短、精练,且听力录音只播放一遍,部分学生来不及应变,失分率较高。第三节听篇章对话。内容为学生所熟悉的题材,着重考查学生的语篇或对话理解能力,及考查学生在具体语境中的快速理解能力,测试内容紧扣学生学习和日常生活实际,不仅要求学生能听懂对话,还要进

行逻辑推理或综合理解。与第二节相比,部分学生在第三比第二节要轻松,因为听力材料播放两边,第一遍没有听清楚第二遍可以弥补,学生感觉压力小多了,但如果出现对话没有直接给出答案,需要学生对句子理解转换思维或推理的题目,学生往往丢分。第四节听短文更侧重于能力的全局理解和把握。第五节听短文写单词也是很多学生的薄弱环节,失分的情况也较为严重。主要在于学生往往只写出该单词的基本形式或者是出现单词拼写错误。 由此可见,要想在比较短的时间里提高听力的应试能力,就要有一定的应考策略和答题技巧。 二、中考听力的复习策略 听力测试安排在英语考试的开头,它的好坏不仅影响着听力题本身的得分,而且对后面的解题产生一定的影响, 因此,在听力方面教师如何指导学生做好复习尤为关键。结合我校英语教师的一些教学实践主要做好以下几个方面的工作: 1、做好考试的心理准备。 听力其实是考查的不单单是“听”,同时也检测“理解”和“判断”能力,因此,听力训练一定要从七年级抓起。七年级时,要注重

初中英语听力教学设计 我们一般把听力教学分为三段,即:听前阶段(pre-listening),听时阶段(while-listening),听后阶段(post-listening)。 1. 听前阶段(pre-listening) 此阶段虽是准备阶段,很重要。学生能否顺利获取信息在一定程度上取决于他们对听力材料背景知识的熟悉程度。因此,在听力活动前应巧妙设计过渡性的任务作铺垫,可根据相关话题提些启发性问题及必要的热身训练激活背景知识,给学生提供必要的语境,引入话题,导出生词,降低难度,使之产生联想,激发其“听”的欲望,让学生想听、会听。所以,听前阶段应该激发学生的“听”欲,使其“想听”。 2. 听时阶段(while-listening) 此阶段是听力训练的实质性阶段,教师应有目的地教给学生一些听力技巧。如:要指导学生“要边听边记,强化记忆,记录时要有重点,有技巧:先填该词的前几个字母,可节省时间来听下一空,稍后再补充完整。培养学生听“主题大意、抓关键信息、合理推理及捕捉具体细节”等方面的能力。因此,听中设计要充分考虑这些要求,使学生能听,听懂。教师要多点引导,少点批评,使其发挥正常的听力水平。听力任务设计要把握好“难”度,使其“能”听。 3. 听后阶段(post-listening) 这是听力训练的巩固阶段。听说读写四项技能既相对独立,又相互联系,要全面发展。即使是单项技能课,教师也要体现语言技能综合性原则。因此,在以提高听力技能为主的听力课上,也要根据实际初中英语听力,将它与说、读、写有机地结合起来,既有侧重,又全面发展。所以在听之后应该充分挖掘资源,使其“延”听。我们平时的课堂上在听力之后还有填空、pairwork等。 听力设计虽没有固定的模式,却有其内在的规律。教师只有树立“以人为本”的思想,精心设计听力教学的各个环节,充分调动学生积极性,有效开展听前、听中、听后活动,才能把学生通过听力材料所获得的语言知识和语用知识有效地转化为听、说、读、写的综合能力。总之, 提高听力理解能力是一个反复实践的、持久的过程,需要我们教师在实际教学中不断探索新的听力教学策略,再掌握一些合理的听力技巧,师生共同努力初中英语听力,课内外结合,才能取得良好的效果。 我们一直在进行听力教学研究,但是很多老师对初中听力教学很是迷惑,因为根本就没有明确的一些指导思想或明确的实施方案,而很多老师又缺乏在课堂实践过程中进行探索,其实这也是有点不切实际的,我们的平时课堂都是听说课型和读写课型及单元复习课型,很少有专门的听力教学课型。今天晚上阅读了《浅谈初中英语教学中的听力设计》一文,对听力教学设计略有感想。

小学英语听力练习 新制定的英语课程标准把“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神”放在英语课程任务的首位。我是这样考虑的:小学英语教学主要是教会学生如何学会英语,为真正实现终身学习创造条件。而听力是英语学习中四项基本技能之一,也是学生最感困难的一项技能。从我对学生的调查来看,有80%的学生感到听力困难。其主要原因是:语速太快,来不及理解,记忆失控。那么,如何在教学中解决这些问题,提高学生的听力水平呢? 众所周知,听是理解和吸收口头信息的手段。听和读是输入,只有达到足够的输入量,才能保证学生具有较好的说和写的输出能力。从心理上来说,听的活动可划分为:1.音的感知和识别;2.对具体材料的初步理解;3.领会材料的意思并进行记忆,即认知—理解—记忆。运用这条原理,我在小学英语听力教学中进行了实践,在优化英语听力教学、激活学生理解能力方面有一点拙见: 一、导教、激发学生听的领会能力 导教,即引导学生“乐学”。课堂教学是一个多方面、多层次、多元化的完整而复杂的过程,这个过程应充分体现“学生为主体,教师为主导,训练为主线”的教学原则。因此,我根据小学生的心理和认知特点,导出了听力教学中的三种科学方法: 1.单项性听和整体性听相结合的方法 单项性听是把听的材料分为各个语言层次,让学生分步听,进行听力基本训练。整体性听是在听力基本功训练的基础上所进行的听的活动。 2.分散训练和集中训练相结合的方法 分散训练主要是分散于词汇、句型、语言、课文教学中以各种单位和各种方式进行的听的活动。由于听的活动要求注意力高度集中,时间长了易于使学生疲劳,所以分散训练是一种有效的方法。但是分散训练时间短,不能就听本身的练进行系统指导和安排,所以学生听力不易迅速提高。只有集中进行听的训练,时间才能得到保证,教师才能集中精力,根据不同学生的不同听力困难,加以具体帮助和指导。 3.理解和反应相结合的方法 学生在听力练习中,只有真正听懂了,才能作出正确反应,而是否听懂也只有靠作出反应的正确与否来检验。所以,如何才能使学生听得又快又好,是在训练中要着重解决的问题。 通过以上方法的运用,我注重引导学生参与教学活动,创设问题情境,保持参与时间,使学生在参与听力教学的过程中学会认知,增长智能,发展素质,从“厌学”变成“乐学”,从而激发学生听的能力。 二、导练,培养学生的辩析能力 导练,即在教学中坚持“以训练为主线”的原则。学生的听力素质只有通过训练才能更好地形成和巩固。因此,我把学生听力技能、听力思维等方面的训练贯穿于教学始终,并力求训练形式多样,讲究实效。
