4.通过学习故事激发学生对运动的热爱，能用积极的方式参加运动。

正确理解故事，并会朗读。

能对句型Can …?作出正确应答。

Step 1.Warming up
1. T：I have a basketball, first let’s play basketball .
(出示具体要求,评价语，Nice, Cool, Great, Have a try !)
2. T: Let’s enjoy some songs , and try to know what they can do .
Step 2.Free talk
1.T: What’s your name? Nice to meet you . Look, I have a basketball,
Do you like it/ this basketball? Can you play basketball ?
2. Let’s play an interesting game . From the game you will know more
about me .It named ‘ I can’.
Look，here’s the rule .
Please say:Yeah,Yeah,Yeah,if you can do what I can. Please say :
No.No.No,if you can’t do what I can.
第一遍：
I can walk. Look! /I can run .Look ! I can run but can’t run fast .
I can sing. / I can dance . but I can’t dance very well .

play basketball. Just now you played very well .Today we’re going to
learn Unit 4 I can play basketball . (揭题) Look, here’s the basketball .

T：I can play basketball . Can you ? If you can please stand up and tell

2. T: Cool, many of you can play basketball.
对坐着的学生说：Can you play basketball ?
S: Yes, I can . / No , I can’t . ( 给学生提示，引导学生回答)
3.教授：can’t ：a—can’t（集体—两两，比较can与can’t）
4.Read and answer:

1.T:Now,I`m sure you can play basketball very well. What about our old
friends ? Look at the picture. Here are three boys. Who are they ?(板书)
Ss: Mike ,Wang Bing and Liu Tao.
T:Where are they?
Ss: They are in the playground .
T: They’re playing basketball. (出现篮球) So I want to know， Can
WangBing play basketball ?
What about you ? What else do you want to know ?
(学生自由提问Can Mike/ Liu Tao…?)
Let`s watch cartoons and try to find the answers .
2.Watch cartoons and answer the questions:
