外研六上Module 1Unit 2【教学目标】本模块是出自《新标准英语》第七册第一模块第二单元,Unit1主要是让学生学会怎样谈论一个地方,例如一个景点、一个城市等。

学习用数字表达长度、人口数量等。

Unit2为第一单元的延续, 是在前一课的基础上继续谈论某处, Unit 2 It’s in the west.本册教材内容主要通过讲述某个地方的地理位置和相关的基本信息。

特别让学生学会看地图,从地图上找到某一个地方,指出并说出来。

并更进一步用east, south, west, north,这些单词来询问和回答城市所在国家的方位。

【教学重难点】重点: 教授方向单词:east, south, west, north。

新授句型:It’s in the east of……难点:运用所学句式进行综合性的表达。

【教学过程】Step 1 Lead-in老师出示一张长城的图片来复习上个单元的内容:How long is the Great Wall 并引出本课的问句:Where’s the Great Wall2. 课文导入通过答案It’s in the north of China.引出本节课的学习任务——询问和回答位置,并呈现和齐读课题。

Step 2 PresentationA. Activity 1 listen and repeat.①通过ppt复习巩固四个方向词east, south, west, north。

②出示西湖图片学习the West Lake,并提出问题Where’s the West Lake③听活动1,找出答案。

④音跟读,然后齐读课文。

⑤学习检测:看图回答城市的位置,熟练运用句型Where’s …It’s in the …of China .B. Activity 2 Look, listen and point.①Talk about American map, and try to find New York, San Francisco, Houston. New York is in the east. San Francisco is in the west. Houston is in the south. 通过PPT呈现城市面貌,感受美国异域文化。
