影片风格 色彩 影片中色彩的运用很有特色，在影片的 前半部分，玛丽和马克思在没有通信之前， 二人周围生活的色调是灰暗的，色彩以灰， 黑，褐色为主，这暗示了两人生活的无聊、 平淡甚至透露出一丝绝望。玛丽穿的外套是 蓝黑色，而马克思则是穿着黑色的外套，头 戴犹太人戴的黑色小帽。而台词中连玛丽幻 想中想要的“梦中情人”都叫“G格雷伯 爵”。当二人开始通信后，影片的色彩逐渐 明亮，二人逐渐敞开了各自的心扉，影片中 玛丽寄给马克思的自画像、马克思头顶的小 红球以及玛丽进入大学后渐渐艳丽最后到洁 白的婚纱，让人一步步看到希望，可是影片 到后三分之一的时候，玛丽和马克思的友情 因为玛丽的著作而暂时中断的时候，色彩又 回归到了影片一开始那种阴暗的氛围，直到 最后两人和好如初，影片色彩又趋于明亮， 这也体现了导演擅长用色彩的明暗表现人物 的心理并让色彩配合故事的进展。
