As we move into the twenty-first century, technology is affecting many different areas of life and education is no exception.When it comes to whether technology makes education easier,Some people hold the belief that technology is necessary and significant to education while others are profound convinced the opposite views. From my point of the view, I am in favor of the former and I consider that technology has a great contribution to teaching as well as its use is a great progress ineducation.There are several factors contributing to this point. First, technology provides more ways and wider resources for students’learning. Students and teachers can find learning materials in different ways like internet. Compared with the traditional teaching model, technology allows teachers to use more flexible and various ways to spread knowledge. Second, based on the first reason, technology will rise students’interest and make them more concentrated on their class because it allows teachers to use not only words but also pictures and sound even videos to present their courses. In addition,teacher can arrange the homework through the internet, meanwhile,students can also use the internet to hand in their homework. Therefore, with the help of technology, our learning will be more effective and efficient. Third, technology can educate more people.For example,people who do not admitted to the university can also attend to university courses through the internet.But just as an old saying goes,”every coin has two sides”.Its negative are also apparent.The students who usually search those scattered and systematic knowledg e not only unbeneficial for the students to improve capability ,oppositely , the learni ng capability of students deteriorate, what is more , there are still plenty of students who are unable to deal with the excessive information and got the anxious illness of i nformation . 我们的孩子生活在科技的时代，需要懂得使用 科技来生活及工作。 Our students are living in the Era of Technology, and are required to know how to use technology in their life and work.
美國有1,000萬高等教育學生接受網路教學，92%大型公司紛紛開始建立webbased的學習方式 About 10 million higher education students in the US use internet education; 92% large-scale companies start developing web-based learning. 中国互联网络信息中心（CNNIC）于2009年1月发布了《第23次中国互联网络发 展状况统计报告》，截至2008年12月底，中国上网人数达到2.98亿人，宽带上网 人数为2.7亿人，手机上网人数有11,760万。互联网的普及率达到了22.6%。 According to Analysis of the 23rd Statistical Report on the Internet Development in China issued by China Network Internet Information Centre in January 2009, by the end of 2008, 2980 million people in China were internet-connected; 2700 million people used broadband internet; 11.76 thousand people accessed internet via mobile phones; and internet use rate reached 22.6%.
