【分析】SURPRISE在这里是动词“使惊奇”,这句话既可以理解成被动语态,也可以理解为把SURPRISE变成了形容词SURPRISED,BESURPRISEDTODOSTH.表示“对做某事感到惊奇”。

SURPRISE类似的用法还有BESURPRISEDATSTH,意为“对某事感到惊奇”,后面还可以接从句。

同时SURPRISE后可以直接加人,表示“使某人惊奇”。
