Wang: Mr. Brown, I’m here to investigate the matter of your claim for the breakage of the package. Brown: I’m glad you come here, Mr. Wang. Since we have sent you a notice of claim, it’s no doubt you know the details of our claim. Wang: You said that nearly 10% of the packages had been broken and 1000 kg of flour missing. Brown: Yes, we think it was clearly due to improper packing. Wang: I think the breakage must have been caused by rough handling. Before I came here, I checked up on the condition of the shipment, and found nothing wrong with the packing in our record.
