本单元的教学内容与学生的实际生活息息相关,因而本课时的教学内容对学生来说不难理解。这个单元在三年级学习过家庭成员的基础上主要围绕职业展开话题,重点是使学生掌握一些常见职业的英语表达,并就此展开相关讨论。并在此基础之上培养学生热爱劳动、尊重他人劳动的情感。本课内容是本单元的基础。因此,在教学过程中,教师应尽量运用直观教学手段,注意新旧知识的衔接并努力做到单词教学与句型操练相结合,以利于学生发展语言技能,提高实际运用语言的能力。另外,本单元的重点句型:What does your father/mother do?对学生来说要掌握并不是难点,难点应该是综合运用各种已学过的句型讨论父母的职业并进行交流。难点还是应该放在主语是第三人称单数的一般现在时的动词的形式上,帮助学生适当感知,加深理解,熟练运用。

五、语法1.at home“在家”。

其中home是副词,前面不要加冠词。

2.sick和ill都是“生病“的意思。

但是意思和用法上不相同。

(1)在美国英语中,sick和ill都可以表示生病。

如He is sick/ill.在英国英语中,sick 表示“恶心”(2)作“生病”时,sick可以用作表语,也可以做定语。

3. help的用法:help sb to do sh意思是“帮助某人做某事”。

help sb with sth意思是“在某事上帮助某人”。

with one’s(形容词性物主代词)help “在某人的帮助下”4. policeman男警察(复数) policemen, policewoman女警察(复数) policewomen5. what about= how about怎么样What/ How about+名词?如:What about some juice?= How about some juice? 来些果汁怎么样?What/ How about+动词-ing?如:What about going for a walk? = How about going for a walk? 去散步怎样?6.部分名词复数a boy student一个男学生two boy students两名男学生a man doctor一个男医生ten men doctors十个男医生a woman doctor一个女医生ten women doctors十个女医生7. teach sb. sth.教某人某事如:teach them English教他们英语teach us Art 教我们美术8. buy sth. for sb.为某人买东西= buy sb. sth.买东西给某人(两个代词放一起不可用teach him it×)如:I can buy some fruit for you. = I can buy you some fruit.我可以买些水果给你。

9.询问别人是做什么工作的,可以使用句型: What do/ does ... do? I'm/ He's/She's...(1)在一般现在时中,主语是第一人称、第二人称及第三人称复数时,借助于助动词do。

如: 你是干什么的?我是一位老师。

What do you do? I'm a teacher.你们是干什么的?我们是老师。

What do you do? We're teachers.她们是干什么的?她们是女警察。

What do they do?They're policewomen.(2)在一般现在时中,主语是第三人称单数时,借助于助动词does.如:你的爸爸是干什么的?他是一名医生。

What docs your father do? He's a doctor. 他的妈妈是干什么的?她是一名作家。

What does his mother do? She's a writer. 她的妈妈是干什么的?她是工厂的工人。

What does her mother do? She's a factory worker.询问职业的方法还有:(1) What are you? I’m a farmer. 你是干什么的?我是一个农民。

(2) What’s your job? My job is a teacher./I am a teacher.你的职业是什么?我的职业是教师。

/我是一名教师。

(3) What is his/her job? He/She is a... 他/她的职业是什么?他/她是……(4) What are their jobs?- They are policemen.一他们的职业是么?他们是警察。

10.在一般现在时中,根据主语的不同,动词会发生相应的变化。

(1)主语是第一人称、第二人称和第三人称复数,动词不变。

如:I teach English. 我教英语。

You work at the factory. 你在工厂里工作。
