不及物动词 do在这里表示“够了，能行”。
2. No ID number. Without that, it's hard.
没有登记号码。没有的话，可难找啊。
ID: identification. 识别证，身份证的缩写形式。

你会尽力找到狗的主人的。
注意这里Alexandra重读了”will”。will重读时不只表示未来，而且带有较强的感情色彩，表示较强的意愿或承担做某事，有时也表示固执、不听劝阻。 4. If the owners don't claim the dog in forty-eight hours, then you can
apply for adoption.
如果狗的主人在48小时内不来认领，那么你就可以申请领养了。
claim: 认领，要求（应得的权利）。
apply for: 申请，请求。
5. How do I do that?

意义：
1培养学生在听的过程中收集整理有用信息的能力
2 增加学生基本句型的积累与应用
3 开拓学生视野，增长学生知识，了解美国的风土人情
实施方法：
1组织学生有秩序的观看《走遍美国》（将学生分成若干个小组或者自由搭配）
2 观后让学生收集每一集中的有用信息及句式

4 给学生自由讨论时间来组织对话或者写小文章
5 学生自主发言，老师对于学生所出现的错误给予指正。

两套评价方案
第一套评价方案分为三部分组成：

《走遍美国》与口语交际计划说明：
开设这个课程的原因：
语言是一门工具，我们学习语言最原始的需求就是交流，
换句话说语言是应人们交流需要而产生的，但是现在高一的学生英语语言功底很差，很多学生都是哑巴英语，对于记单词只会拼而不会读，这样的英语学了以后能够真正的去交流吗？所以鉴于此开设这门课程，以期待能培养学生运用语言的能力，从侧面有能增加学生的词汇量及听力，有利于学生在高考中听力和写作。更能够提高学生对于学习英语的自信心，有增强了学生的交际能力。
将句型运用于实践的说明：
《走遍美国》是一部系列剧集，为了能够更好的让学生复习运用所积累句型，我把《走遍美国》每5集定为一个小单元，给学生一节自我总结练习课，这节课可以在室外进行，有点英语角的意思，让学生着重练习这个单元所学到的句子。老师可以穿梭其中，一起交流学习。这种实践可以作为最后考评的加分。
