人的大脑是一个记忆的宝库,人脑经历过的事物,思考过的问题,体验 过的情感和情绪,练习过的动作,都可以成为人们记忆的内容。例如英 文的学习中单词、短语和句子,甚至文章的内容都是通过记忆完成的。 从"记"到"忆"是有个过程的,这其中包括了识记、保持、再认和回 忆。有很多人在学习英语的过程中,只注重了学习当时的记忆效果,孰 不知,要想做好学习的记忆工作,是要下一番工夫的,单纯的注重当时 的记忆效果,而忽视了后期的保持和再认"同样是达不到良好的效果的。
艾宾浩斯遗忘曲线
保持和遗忘是一对冤家对头。你对以前学过的知识能够回忆起来,就是保持住了,如果回忆 不起来或回忆错了,就是遗忘。 遗忘的进程不仅受时间因素的制约,也受其他因素的制约。学生最先遗忘的是没有重要 意义的、不感兴趣、不需要的材料。不熟悉的比熟悉的遗忘的要早。 人们对无意义的音节的遗忘速度快于对散文的遗忘,而对散文的遗忘速度又快于有韵律 诗。 在学习过程中,对一种材料达到一次完全正确地背诵后仍然继续学习,叫做过度学习。 适当的过度学习可以使学习的材料保持得更好。研究结果表明,适当限度的过度学习比刚能 背诵的效果好,但如果超过这个限度,其保持效果不再增加。如学习四遍后恰能背诵,则再 学习两遍效果最好,但再学习效果则适得其反,对人的身心造成危害。 一般记住后,在5分钟后重复一遍,20分钟后再重复一遍,1小时后,12小时后,1天后, 2天后,5天后,8天后,14天后就会记得很牢。
