Donald：When I get up. I need to eat. What’s for breakfast？
Mary：Toast，egg and milk.Now，you can watch Studio classroom on TV.
Donald：I don’t want to watch it today.
Mary：All right. You need to get up.
Donald：Ok…… Ok……

Mary每天的工作：“醒醒，起床了。
”
Donald翻过身去闭着眼：“我还要多睡10分钟。
”
Mary：“你上学会迟到的。

Donald瞄时钟：“现在才6：30.”
Mary：“可是你总是慢吞吞的。

Donald小时候总是全家第一个起床的人，专门扰人清梦。
刚上幼儿园听到wake up和get up的动作命令，这下可好，他回来马上就派上用场，学老师叫他们结束午睡的口吻，念得既标准又清楚，加上权威的语调，再附带拍打的动作，一大清早，把我从睡梦中唤醒。
他把wake up和get up这两个词在生活里应用，给我很大的冲击。
当你觉得需要用的语句，你就一定会记下来。
从此我开始有DIY自己建立美语环境的想法。
每个人都知道，学好语言的方法，就是要有环境。
不过说起来简单，真要去做，最初也不知道该怎么办。
我们又不住在国外，经济能力也有限，做美语环境要从哪儿着手？时间空间又很小，我和一般的职业妇女一样，从公司下班，直接回到家里又继续加班当妈妈，很难想像还有多余的心力来安排额外的学习。
没关系，办法总是人想出来的，与其伤脑筋，不如就从一天开始，除了wake up以外，接触到别的东西，我让他尽量用英文教我，初期一天可能只用到五六个像是telephone、televis ion、I、you、mom（电话、电视、我、你、妈妈）之类的单词。
过了几天，效果比我想像的好，餐桌上的水果已经大部分都能用英文了。
因为午餐时间，老师会先用英文告诉大家盘子里是什么，晚上回来聊到学校的事，问他吃什么，他就说出来。
我发现原来自己家里的冰箱就装满了现成的教具，绝对胜过课本里一堆单调的图片。
所以现在和Donald一边聊一边讲的水果名称，我一下就记得了。
在家说习惯了，有次去市场，竟然指着西瓜对老板说watermelon，还来不及更正，老板听了马上手比个12，用英文说tw elve，告诉我一斤12块钱。
看吧！卖东西最需要沟通的是价钱，老板他不需要知道2000个黄金单词才开口，做生意自然就记得数字怎么说怎么用了。
我点点头，他称好收
了钱，还补上一句Thank you.整个过程中，他说的英文比我还多呢！
最近Donald上学的新鲜感过去了，每天Donald和Mary仍旧上演赖床的戏，只是角色互换，颠倒过来，变成我催他，而内容除了wake up，他慢慢把所接触的其他的单词都用进来，早上的conversation就越来越长，用这招他可以赖得更久一点，像是今天这篇在他半睡眠状态下对话的例子，已经演变成共有十来句之多。
