basketball/football等。

2. 学生能够理解故事并在此基础上表演故事。

3. 学生能够运用所学的词汇和句型与家人、朋友谈论有关运动的话

题。

Teaching emphasis and difficulties:

教学重点:1. 从整体上阅读故事并理解。

2. 语音语调正确地朗读对话,表演故事。

教学难点:学生能够运用“Can you...?”向他人进行询问,并能运用“Yes, I can/ No, I can’t”进行回答。

人物头饰、篮球、足球、多媒体课件、教学图片

Teaching procedures

Step 1 Pre-reading

1. Greeting

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

S: Good morning,….

T: How are you today?.

S: I’m fine. Thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine too. Thank you. Sit down, please.

S: Thank you.

2. Listen to a song

T:Let’s listen to a song《I can skate and I can jump》and sing with the music.

Step 2 While-reading

1.Let’s learn

T:We can learn some new words in the song. Let’s have a look.

jump: 教师先示范读,然后学生个别读的同时加上动作。jump jump I can jump.

skate: 教师先示范读,然后学生个别读的同时加上动作。师生问答:Can you skate?(Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.),学生问学生。

swim: 教师先示范读,然后学生个别读的同时加上动作。师生问答:Can you swim?(Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.),学生问学生。

T: What other sports can you do? Can you play ball games?(教师拿出实物足球,教授单词football) What’s this? Can you play football?

教师拿出实物篮球,教授basketball.Can you play basketball? Some of you can play basketball, but some of you can’t. Today we are going to learn Unit 4 I can play basketball.引出标题并带读。

2.Look and answer

T: Our old friends are playing ball games.

Who are they?

What are they doing?

Do you have any questions for them?

3.Watch and answer

T: Can Wang Bing and Mike play basketball? Let’s watch the story.

4.Read and answer

T: Wang Bing and Mike can play basketball. What about Liu Tao? Can Liu Tao play basketball? 教师提问学生,引导学生说出自己的看法,然后打开书本阅读课文,在课文中寻找答案。Open your books and turn to page 25. Read picture 3 and 4, and answer the questions: Can Liu Tao play basketball at first?

Can Liu Tao play basketball at last?

在学生回答问题之后,教师接着追问:What do his friends say to him?从而引出Have a try.

5.Read and find

T: Let’s read the story and find out some words about praise.引出nice, cool, great。

6.Read and order

T: As we know, all of them can play basketball.Read the story and think about who is the best?(Mike). How do you know that?引出very well。7.Happy reading
