(一)市场主导与行政主导的制作差异总体而言,美国电视剧的制作采用的是边拍边播的方式,而中国电视剧的制作则采用的是先备案审查再制作播出的方式,归结为一点,就是市场主导与行政主导的差异。

(1)制作周期对于美国电视剧而言,“季”或者说是“演季”这个概念是一个最大的特点。

“季”实际上就是指商业电视网在它晚间黄金时段的娱乐节目里所实行的一种惯例或者制度,不仅电视剧如此,其他节目也是按照这种方式进行操作的(新闻节目除外)。

具体来说,从9月中旬到第二年的4月下旬大约30多周的时间就叫“季”(也有一些特定的暑期季),在这期间,各大商业电视网晚间黄金时段播出内容一般都是首播节目或者是电视剧。

不过一般在接近年底的时候,有些电视剧会因为圣诞节或者棒球职业联赛等原因停播一段时间,也可以称作冬歇期。

一般来说,美国周播电视剧的制作周期,实拍周期是八天,播出周期是七天。

编剧边写编拍,电视台一般也就预存两三集的电视剧用来播出,因此2007年10月份美国编剧大罢工时,各大电视台仅仅坚持了不到三周时间,就纷纷断炊了,很多当季的新剧不得不提前结束播出。

而中国的电视剧拍摄则实行的预审备案制度。

编剧写好剧本后,由制片方持《广播电视节目制作经营许可证》和表述剧目主题思想、主要人物、时代背景、故事情节等内容的故事大纲,到省广电局(厅)申报电视剧题材规划立项。

待取得批文后,才能成立剧组,开始拍摄,最后进行后期制作和发行。

电视剧的主要购买者是各地方电视台,电视台买到优秀的电视剧后会立刻安排,以争抢收视份额。

(2)播出方式美国电视剧一般而言一周播出一集(有时每一季刚开始播出时会采用特殊的方式播出,比如《24 Hours》一般一上来就用两天的时间连播四集),而且除了晚间黄金时间播出一遍之外,近期将不再安排重播,这也就使得观众一旦观看上某个美剧之后,就不愿轻易放弃,所以每个“演季”一开始,观众都会有造成一种迫不期待的心理期待和强烈的收视愿望:好的电视剧只有今晚播,不看就会错过这个机会,就只能等到明年甚至后年才能看到这个剧的重播,因此每周固定的时间必须守候在电视机旁边等候收看,甚至形成了固定的收视习惯——这也是美剧大多数都会保持稳定收视率的原因。

网络工程1101李伶玲201126680111浅谈中美电视剧之差异从《大长今》、《疯狂主妇》到前几年连大妈大婶都在谈论的《越狱》,回想起来近几年看的电视剧大多都是来自韩国、日本和美国的电视剧精品,而我们本土电视剧不知时候竟悄无声息的淡出了我们的视野。

就目前来说中国电视剧每年大约有一万多集的庞大产量,即便如此,但其质量却也低得惊人。

看到这里,真心有点为我们国产剧的逐渐淡出感到了些担心,但是,担心之余更多的则是对目前这种现状的思考——究竟是什么原因导致了这一现象的产生。

现在外国电视剧看多了自然就想比较,当然比较的是咱中国电视剧到底差在哪里?看到韩剧画面精致,就说咱们电视剧不细腻。

看到美剧情节紧凑,就是咱们中国编剧不会写故事。

我看这都是表面现象,为什么人家画面精良,故事好看。

这里,我们就针对中美电视剧的差异做一个简单的对比。

首先,我觉得应该从两国电视剧的大众文化元素进行比较。

大家都知道中国的电视起步晚,因此我国电视文化的发展因主流文化、大众文化、精英文化错综复杂的关系以及人们对电视文化不准确的定位而受到影响。

恰恰相反的是美国是商业电视高度发达的国家,其对世界的电视体系都有着重大的影响,而且,世界上许多流行的电视节目都诞生于美国,如肥皂剧、情景喜剧、谈话节目等等。

另外它在电视节目的制作、商业运作、电视体系等方面都已经相当的成熟了。

其次,我们再来看看两国电视剧在制作周期,播出方式以及制作与收视要求方面的差异。

小题材剧中主人公多是日常生活中的普通人,讲述的都是些平常碰得到的小事——这种平民化策略生存基点,是题材本身与现实生活的贴近性。

观众在品味这种贴近时,都能在剧中找到自己的影子,符合了审美的基本原理,即人类在进行审美活动时,审的正是体现在审美对象中的人类本质力量和生命形象之美。

叙事策略:剧情为王和“杯中风暴”式冲突视剧剧情的两翼是悬念和冲突,“剧情为王”正体现在对悬念和冲突的精心设置上:小人物小题材靠提炼大量细节化的悬念和冲突来营造亮点;对于那些能拍成好莱坞大片的大题材,电视剧采取与好莱坞大片完全不同的策略——不刻意强化大场面大动作以营造视觉奇观,而是重点打造剧情的悬念和冲突,以剧情取胜。

“剧情为王”体现在叙事策略上,表现为戏剧性的“杯中风暴”式冲突。

如情景喜剧,每集一般有30多个笑点,平均每半分钟到一分钟就有一个。

大题材电视剧则往往是给主人公一个目标,如救人,将他置于极度的危急情境之中,然后开始设置重重障碍来阻止主人公达到目的;在这种冲突和悬念的积累和前进中,观众的情绪一直在波浪式上扬;当冲突、悬念和观众的情绪都积累到饱和状态时,一集的高潮到来,本集的冲突和悬念得到解决,但每集结束前都会有下一冲突和悬念的暗示和提示,观众在心理释放过后又欲罢不能——《24小时》就是这样一个典型的例子。

主题策略:大美国主义和个人英雄主义美国很少有“宣传”一说,甚至忌讳这样的字眼;但不说“宣传”只为掩人耳目——好莱坞电影如此,美国电视剧也不例外。
