1.5 LISTENING AND VOCABULARY分为六部分来进行。
Activities 1, 2 && 3分别以问答和听力练习的形式让学生就有关校园生活的词汇进行练习。
Activity 4要求学生表述自己对英语学习的看法并阐述原因,既巩固了所学生词,又运用了本模块的语法V?鄄ing 形式。
Activity 5 给出八组有联系的词,要求学生解释它们之间的联系。
Activity 6 回归课文,复习旧词汇,并表述对Mr Stanton的看法。
1.6 PRONUNCIATION 以听读的方式学习单词重音,为听力的提高奠定基础。
1.7 FUNCTION AND SPEAKING 列举了表达喜好的句式,要求学生以问答方式就自己所学科目进行对话练习。

Step I Pre-listening
1. Lead some new words in (Activity 1)
This activity presents to the students many new words describing classroom studies they are familiar with .When explaining the new words, you’d better give them a situation in English so that their listening should be enforced .Besides, it will lay some foundations for the coming listening comprehension.
2.Read through the words in the box and have the students repeat them after you ,paying particular attention to stress.
3.Read through the questions as the students follow ,Make sure they understand them.
4.Put the students in pairs and have them answer the questions .Then call back the answers from the class.
5.Acticity 2
Ask the students to work in pairs to discuss and decide which words might go in the spaces. And the collect their answers.
Step II While-listening
Activity 3
First play the tape for the students and ask them to check the answers to activity 2. Then remind the students to read the listening exercises beforehand and listen carefully to catch the main points of the conversation .Only in this way can they get the correct answers, Finally ,they finish the task individually and check with their partners .If necessary, play the tape once more for a final check.
