浅谈中学英语阅读教学

Abstract:The efficiency of English reading education in the middle school lies in the clear intention and the right way of reading. Unclear reading intentions and simple reading method directly affect the interest and the effect of reading .There fore it is emergent to develop the reading skills and how to improve the reading skills is the problem we have to face.

Teacbing aims and demands of Reading are as fouows:

First,to lanrn languages, understanding the difference between China and westem countries,one must grasp a certain language technology of adility.lt is an important part in language communication,including listening,speaking,reading and writing.

Second,in order to gain more information,enlarge knowledge,train the interest of learning English,and develop the adility using langnage lfcreating,we require students to be Active and to believe in themselves; to undertand the familiar idioms and short story, to Exchange ideas each other,to play a role in a short paly and so on.

Third,to improve reading skills of the students and train their reading ability,we require the students to finish reading in a limited time, master the reading skills and improve their reading ability.

In teaching English,I adopteel the following mamode:one,guessing unknown words from the contest; two, finding the topic sentence in a paragraph; three, skimming;

four,scanning; five, prediction; six, inference.

In a word , English reding education is a kind of art .As an English teacher, I must be good at developing my advantage, making full use of the English materials, atowting the interest of the students to make them fond of learning English and willing to learm it.

当代的教育科学理论告诉我们要特别重视人的可持续发展,重视人的综合素质的全面提高。如何适空二十一世纪知识经济的需求,培养出具有实践能力、交际能力和创新能力等的综合性人才,是我们每位老师应该认真加以思考的问题。因此,在英语教学中,中学英语的阅读教学就很值得我们去研究和探讨了。

目前,我国现行中学英语教学大纲对阅读教学的目的要求主要有以下三点:

1、通过课本学习语言知识,了解中西方的语言文化差异,掌握一定的语言技能。语言技能是构成语言交际能力的重要组成部分,包括听、说、读、写各方面的技能以及综合运用的能力。

2 、获取更多的信息,拓竟视野.逐步培养学习英语的兴趣,培养运用知识的能力和创造能力。要求学生对英语学习表爱出积极和越来越强的自信心。能听懂有关熟悉的话题的语段和简短的故事。能就有关的话题交换信息,能参与简单的角色扮演等活动。

3 、提高学生的阅读技巧,培养学生豹阅读能力。要求学生一定的时间内完成一定的阅读任务,掌握一定的阅读技巧,提高阅读的能力

英语课程的学习,既是学生通过英语学习和实践活动,逐步掌握英语知识技能,提
