首先，根据这几个易混词特性列表如下：一、下面对每个词的用法做一一归纳、小结，要注意区别各词的词性、含义及用法。
1、other既可作形容词，也可作代词。
作形容词时，意思为“另一方的、其它的”，泛指“其它的（人或事）”，后既可跟单数名词也可跟复数名词。
eg:Do you have any other question(s)? 你还有其它的的问题吗？Ask some other people. 问问其他人。
Put it in your other hand. 把它放在你的另一只手中。
2、the other(1) 指两个人或物中的一个时，只能用the other，不可用another，此时other作代词，谓语动词用单数形式。
eg:He has two daughters, one is a nurse, the other is a teacher.他有两个女儿，一个是护士，另一个是教师。
(2) 当the other后加名词时，既可加单数名词，也可加复数名词，此时other为形容词。
