As the basic safeguard equipment of automobile safety, the main function of seat belt is to limit the position of the driver or crew member when the accident occurs, and reduce the injury degree of the accident to the personnel. 5.1.1 Starting System
The starting system is a necessity for internal-combustion engines（内燃机）, because the Otto cycle （奥托循环） requires the pistons already to be in motion before the ignition phase of the cycle. This means that the engine must be started in motion by an outside force before it can power itself. Originally, a hand crank was used to start the engine, but it was inconvenient and rather hard work to crank the engine up to speed. It was also highly dangerous; when the engine did finally start up, the crank would begin to spin on its own at high speed. The operator had to pull away immediately or else risk a broken wrist.

Valve Drive Mechanism It is used to transfer the camshaft lift The valve drive mechanism consists of the lifters, the pushrods and the rocker arms Lifters change the rotary motion of the camshaft to reciprocating motion to open and close the valve. Hydraulic lifters are used to reduce noise and control the valve clearance on many engines. They absorb the valve train clearance by using oil pressure inside the lifter body. Pushrods are used only on engines that have the camshaft placed within the block. Overhead camshafts do not need pushrods. Rocker arms are designed to change the direction of the cam lifting force.

Types of Trouble Codes
A trouble code is an alphanumeric4 value that corresponds to a particular type of fault. The list of trouble codes was originally created by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)5 for use by all vehicle manufacturers who have to comply with6 OBD II emissions regulations7 in America. The same list of basic codes has also been adopted by European and Asian auto makers. The list of trouble codes is subdivided into four basic categories: Powertrain (“P”) codes — engine, transmission and emissions systems; Body (“B”) codes — air conditioning system, lighting, airbags, etc.; Chassis (“C”) codes — antilock brake system, suspension and steering systems; Network Communications (“U”) codes — controller area network wiring bus and modules.
