Module 8 Choosing presents Unit 1 I always like birthday parties. 教材分析: 本模块的话题是生日,是学生比较感兴趣的话题。生日对每个人来说都十分重要,过生日不仅是一种个人行为,也反映出一定的文化特点。本模块第一单元是邀请朋友参加自己的生日聚会,内容涉及中国孩子和外国孩子如何过生日,能让学生了解国外的生日文化,比较中西方生日文化的不同,并借此培养和提高学生的跨文化交际意识。第二单元的主题是挑选生日礼物,课文介绍了不同人的不同爱好,教师可以在教学中归纳总结如何表达喜好,并设计为同学组织一次生日聚会的活动帮助学生运用这些表达方式。这不仅可以增进学生相互间的情感交流,还可以培养良好的同学关系。同时在生日活动的过程中,还可以引导学生避免浪费,注意健康的良好习惯。 学情分析: 这单元的教学对象是山区初一的学生,他们学习英语的热情和积极性也较高,思维活跃,爱表现、爱活动,通过大半学期的学习,他们能在教师的指导下,主动参与活动,合作探究,有相当一部分学生能用英语表达自己的意愿。但对于农村的学生来说,生日聚会这样的活动极少,所以本人设计思路由动词到短语再到句子,最后插入频度副词操练对话的教学过程。让他们增强学习信心。 ⅠTeaching model Listening and speaking ⅡTeaching method Interactive approach ⅢTeaching aims 1.
