Man and environmentThroughout the history, man has changed the environment to improve his living quality.Originally, the environment like a generous friend,who can always provide living sources to the man.Then,with tools, man can get the living sources more easily and he tried to changed the natural features of the earth gradually.With time going by,technology makes the man more capable to change the environment and even conqure it. So it’s no longer a friend to the man.With tools,man has changed the skin of the earth.He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes.What’s more,man has drained the swamp and turn it into fertile land and excavated the mountains for tunnels.However, the changes made by man to the environment do not always bring benefits. Water pollution,soil pollution and air pollution have become three main environmental pollutions now. Everyday,thousands of tons of gases come out from modern vehicles to the air and industrial wastewater from factories are drained off to the river and even farms.Besides,soil quality and construction also damaged by platics .According to the research, a plastic jug can take 1 million years to decompose. So its pollutionto the soil is not temporable ,but ,even worse,durable. Moreover ,environmental pollutions can be interactive . Recent news show that “Plastic is responsible for killing more than 100,000 marine turtles every year. “So it ’s not only about water pollution or soil pollution ,it can threaten the biological diversity in a way.It’s becoming more pressing than ever before for us to protect the environment .As we know ,the infinite pollution and endless grab from the environment has not only make the earth weak but also annoyed. Many disasters ,such as flood,draught,earthquake,tsunami and so on, have proved that the earth has been raged and that was caused by the man’s greedy desires and unreasonable deeds.。
