高二上学期英语学科研究性学习课题:圣诞节在中国一、课题提出的背景近年来,西方节日悄然传入中国,情人节、愚人节、母亲节、圣诞节等越来越受中国人青睐。
而我国中学生既喜闻乐见又积极参与的圣诞节是什么样子呢?时值圣诞节前夕,各地学生正以自己独有的方式为节日准备着;各商店也不失时机,装点着圣诞树,其店员扮成圣诞老人兜售着精美小商品;一些媒体也在大肆渲染,积极营造节日气氛。
鉴于此,本人认为这是一个利用圣诞节开展研究性学习的好时机,一方面,这迎合了学生的学习兴趣,另一方面,临近的节日又为学生对研究性学习的开展创造了良好的条件。
二、课题研究的目的1.了解西方文化习俗,学习英语背景知识。
东西方文化的差异及西方人特有的风俗习惯给英语学习者造成了一定的障碍,影响了学生对语言的实际运用,所以了解西方文化习俗,可以帮助学生积累一定的英语背景知识,为其最终掌握这门语言做好知识铺垫。
2.培养创新实践能力,形成团结协作风貌。
研究性学习需要学生改变原有的学习方式,变被动为主动,学会从实践中去获取知识,从而树立主动学习、敢于创新的学习观念。
该项活动将课堂由校园内移到了校园外,求知的空间更为广大,同时亦更为艰难,这就需要学生之间团结协作,共同克服困难,从而达到培养良好学风的目的。
3.学会收集处理信息,养成科学求知态度。
该项活动的另一目的是培养学生收集资料、处理信息和推断结论的能力以及表述思想和交流成果的能力,并要掌握基本的科学方法、学会利用多种有效手段去获取信息。
同时要学会从实际出发,通过认真踏实的探究去求得结论,并懂得尊重他人的成果。
三、课题研究的重点该项活动的重点是比较西方圣诞节与具有中国特色的圣诞节的差异。
对于西方的圣诞节,学生大概了解一些。
纵观周围的节日气氛,大家似乎在模仿西方人庆祝节日的模式,但实际上并非如此。
中国人庆祝圣诞节的方式兼带有自己的民族特色,圣诞节在中国悄然地发生了变化,这也正是学生需要仔细了解的地方。
四、课题研究的难点大家都知道过圣诞节时要装点圣诞树,吃圣诞大餐,唱圣诞颂歌,甚至还有圣诞老人。

一、本学期的指导思想:以学校工作计划为指导思想,以培养学生自主学习和自主管理能力为主线,针对我校高二学生普遍英语底子差,基础薄的实际,坚持“夯实基础,狠抓双基,改进学法,激发兴趣,提高能力”的指导思想,上学期高二英语教学工作计划。

二、学情分析这一届高高二学生虽已经过近两年的高中英语学习,但情况并不容乐观。

三、教材分析本学期要完成选修七、八两本书,使学生达到课标规定的八级要求。
选修教材侧重知识的融合、综合和复习总结,教材难度明显加大,词汇量加大,篇幅加长;侧重技能的融合,阅读与表达以及知识的宽度与厚度;语言知识、文化思维、话题范围及词汇量既有对必修的重现,又有一定的扩展。
