二、课程设置目标

《商务英语视听说》是为英语专业--商务英语的学生开设的一门综合语言技能课。该课程的主要任务是培养学生进一步提高语言应用能力,特别是用于国际商务的专门用途英语。该课程突出自主、互动的学习过程,使学生学以致用。在教学过程中注重国际商务实践能力的锻炼,在商务活动的情境中既熟悉了国际贸易流程,又学习了相关英语的应用。三、教学内容、教学方法和手段、学时分配

知识单元一:工作面试(建议 2 学时)重点:找工作过程中如何准备面试,以及如何在面试中较好地表现自我,展现自我。

了解面试的程序,怎么样准备好一个面试,掌握怎么样回答关于个人具体情况的问题,如教育背景、工作经历等。

主要内容:

Part I Warm-up

1) Ask Ss to note down other reasons they can think of.

2) Divide the class into small groups.

3) Give Ss a few minutes to exchange ideas.

4) Encourage Ss to use different expressions of agreeing and

disagreeing.

5) Ask a few Ss to report their findings (e.g. the agreed Best

job and most common reason(s), the most unique/strange choice

or reason, etc.).

Make sure you have a big pad of paper, a pen, a glass of water, and

a reasonable amount of time.

Don’t give up. You have the right to get information and respectful

service. Be persistent and patient. Realize that sometimes it will

take ten calls to find out what you want. No one person or

organization has all the answers.

Try not to put people on the spot. It makes them defensive. Rather

try to enlist their support. Remember, you usually catch more flies

with honey than with vinegar.

《商务英语函电》课程评价标准 一、基本信息开设专业:商务英语总学时:102学时(教学做一体化)前修课程:外贸英语、电子商务、外贸跟单实务后续课程:国际商务单证、国际贸易实务、商务英语听说 二、课程定位及目标设计 (一)课程整体目标描述《商务英语函电》是商务英语专业的一门核心课,是融国际贸易实务与英语商务信函写作为一体的专业英语课程。本课程的目标是培养学生具备阅读、翻译和写作英语商务信函的能力,培养学生掌握函电撰写的基本技巧、熟练应用英语函电套用语和行文结构。使学生能在英语环境下运用英语函电办理进出口业务等事宜,在外贸工作环境中具备解决实际商务问题的书面沟通能力。外贸函电英语是开展对外经济贸易业务和有关商务活动的重要工具,正确地掌握外贸函电英语的专业知识,并能熟练地加以运用,是外贸工作人员必须具备的专业技能。 (二)课程具体目标描述 1、能力目标(1)能够独立阅读、翻译、撰写商务英语信函;(2)能够根据特定贸易背景,熟练运用商务信函特点和专业知识正确处理各个交易环节的往来外贸信函;(3)能够熟练掌握完整的业务流程,独立完成完整的业务磋商信函撰写。

商务英语函电精品课程建设方案 一、课程建设的目标与思路 1.课程定位 《商务英语》是语言知识与技能,与商务知识与技能相结合的课程,其特点是指导学生以英语为主要使用语言在进出口业务中进行外贸业务谈判和工作联系的、具有很强的实践性的英语课程。《商务英语》的内容涉及如何建立商业关系、如何询盘、报盘、还盘、如何协商支付方式、装运条款以及保险范围和索赔事宜等流程的各个国际贸易环节,其中还包括各个环节的写作规范,写作技巧、书信范例以及合同和协议的文体特征与翻译技巧等内容。 商务英语课程的培养对象是我校英语专业高年级学生。总体培养目标是通过本课程的学习,使学生掌握较为系统的商务基础知识,要求学生了解和掌握国际贸易实务流程各个业务环节以及与之有关的银行、保险、运输等服务运作层面的英语的专门术语、常用句式、信函的篇章构成和主要单证文书的语言表述等特点;使学生在原有的英语读写能力的基础上,能够融会贯通、灵活应用有关的业务知识和语言技能,成为能够高效地阅读和撰写以及翻译(英汉与汉英互译)对外贸易有关书信、熟练掌握国际商务往来中不同类型函电的写作模式和交际策略,培养学生在跨文化的外贸交际活动中能够从容得体地使用英语的能力以及能够胜任各项外贸业务工作的能力。 2、课程建设的具体目标 在我国已经加入了世贸组织的大背景之下,专业的外贸人才需求极大。培养应用型和复合型经贸外语人才是本课程总的培养目标,学生通过该课程的学习,在总体素质方面应达到以下标准: (一)知识培养目标 1)掌握基本业务英语缩略术语的内涵及熟悉国际贸易实务流程、各种国际结算方式、国际贸易的惯例等等。 2)掌握外贸英语函电常用短语、术语信函范例并能据此灵活的模仿运用、习语以及常用的句式结构,能够熟记精彩的惯用句式,补充跨文化交际中的文化冲突
