一、课程的教学目标与任务

本课程适合英语专业二、三年级学生。开设本课程的目的在于使学生通过学习,能够比较全面地了解英美国家的各种基本情况和制度,学会与之相关的英语语汇和表达方式。

本课程涵盖量较大,要让学生在较短的时间完全了解英美两国的具体情况是无法做到的。因此,在进行本课程的教学时,应注意以下几点:

1.学生在课外多收集关于英美两国的资料,有助于充分理解各个部分的知识。

2. 教师除了进行课堂讲解外,还应多提供一些知识容有关的资料。

3.要求学生做好课前预习和课后知识的巩固。
