1、通过阅读刘伟的介绍,了解他在失去双臂的情况下还能够获得2010年《中国达人秀》冠军的原因,感受刘伟获取成功的不易和他面对困难积极乐观向上的精神,培养热爱生活、克服困难的品质和奋发向上、自强不息的心理素质。
2、对比分析自己与刘伟身体与能力方面信息的异同,体会自己身体健康的幸福,同时感受先进人物的伟大。
通过思考刘伟是什么样的人,再次感受他不怕困难、永于拼搏的品格。
3、阅读并谈论盲人调琴师陈燕、篮球女孩钱红艳和尼克的信息,了解更多的榜样,对他人尊重、欣赏。
4、通过课后自主创新作业,培养创新意识。

本课是北师大版“义务教育教科书英语七年级(上册)”Unit4 Lesson12第一课时,话题为描述“中国的天才”失去双臂的李伟能做和不能做的事情。
通过阅读获取有关Liu Wei的个人信息,找到他获得2010年《中国达人秀》冠军的真正原因(失去双臂,用脚弹琴等),感受刘伟获取成功的不易和他面对困难积极乐观向上的精神,培养热爱生活、克服困难的品质和奋发向上、自强不息的心理素质。
通过本文传递的是一种正能量,也许刘伟这个人物对于这届的孩子们来说不是很熟悉,但是我们身边这样的人物还是很多的。
所以让学生们学习刘伟的这种身残志坚的精神,是我们本节课得一个重点。
本课的教学设计分为两个课时,第一课时侧重对课文的理解,提取文章的主要信息和描述人物的细节信息。
在整理信息的过程中,引导学生关注段落中Can与Can’t的句子,最后结合课文的信息和语言进行输出性活动。
在知识方面,学生对于本课中出现的词汇已经掌握的有:guitar、arm、leg、hand、foot、winner、singer…对于相关短语的学习还需要进一步强化。
在第一课时,学生要依据课文所学,输出时,结合自己的技能技巧。
尝试着描述,说一说,我能或我不能的句子,并在阅读中初步感知此功能句,为下一课时归纳can的用法,和初步运用功能句做好铺垫。
学生情况分析:
1、自然情况:授课对象为刚刚初一的学生,他们乐于在英语课堂上做两人的对话练习和展示,
多半孩子英语基础还不错,能学以致用,上课的参与度极高。
期中英语考试情况反馈:
全班20人,13人优秀,一人不及格(分数在50 分左右)
2、已有基础: 1)小学孩子们就见过Can 这个情态动词,并且会说I can play football. 2)升入初中以后,我们开展了丰富的课外实践活动,所以有的学生就具备了
相对的abilities ,所以希望孩子们能自己来谈论一些能力方面的事情。
3、存在的不足:1)个别生词汇量较弱,所以针对阅读文章的理解可能不会表达出自己的语言。
2)在最后的输出上,可能存在孩子们对于一些正能量的单词不太会表达。
4、解决措施: 1)给孩子们一个语言表达的氛围,让孩子们结合图片上所给的单词造句。
2)为了加深形容词的记忆,让孩子们亲自制作一些宣传正能量的海报让孩子加深单词的印象,有助于学生作文的应用。
