Cultural relics(二) 讲义参考答案 本讲目标 题一:B 题二:A 题三:C 题四:D 题五:B 能力提升与拓展 题六: Whether high school students should wear uniforms has become a hot topic among people, especially among the young and a heated debate has been held in our class recently. Opinions are divided on this issue. A majority of students agree that it is right for them to wear school uniforms. In their views there are 3 factors contributing to this attitude as follows: in the first place, it doesn't have any bad influence on their learning. They don’t need to worry about what to wear every day, which is good for them to concentrate on study. Furthermore, uniform is a kind of art and a symbol of union. They have a strong sense of belonging when they are in uniforms. Finally, they believe that it’s a waste to wear other clothes. High school students shouldn’t spend too much money on their clothes. Some other students, however, differ in their opinions on this matter. In their point of view, on the one hand, it isn’t a way to increase their self-confidence. They don’t think uniforms are pretty and original enough, and some material is harmful to the skin, making them ugly and uncomfortable. On the other hand, everyone tends to seek for beauty, so high school students should be allowed to wear the clothes they like. As far as I am concerned, I firmly argue against the view that high school students must wear uniforms. It is not only because they are ugly, but also because they lack originality. If we must wear uniforms at school, can we design them in our own way?
