手惰市安逸阳光实验学校天天增分(十五)满分48分,实战模拟,15分钟拿下高考客观题满分Ⅰ.阅读理解ATwo years ago my grandmother was going to turn 75. My family discussed what the best way to celebrate was. Should we throw her a party? Should we take her on a trip? We remembered that she had touched so many people's lives, and there were so many people for her to consider. Then someone got the idea that we should include everyone in the celebration by turning it into a tribute(献礼) to my grandmother. We secretly sent out letters to the people in grandmother's address book and asked them to send a letter with a memory that they had shared with her. People sent us letters with poems, stories and pictures. The deep feeling that was shared through the response surprised us. We compiled(编纂) these letters into a memory book and amazed her with it on the morning of her birthday. The unusual thing about my grandmother's friends was not the number that she had,but the connection they shared. In many ways this book of friendship was the greatest achievement of my grandmother's life.I believe that developing true friendships is one of the most important things that anyone can do in one's lifetime. It is not a matter of the number of friends one has,but the quality of the bonds. If one has had at least one true friendship before dying, then one can say he has lived a successful life. I have made many friends and I believe I have begun to develop the same types of friendships my grandmother kept up over her lifetime. I only hope that I will be as successful as she has been.1. How did the author's family celebrate the grandmother's birthday?A. They took her on a trip across the country.B. They gave her a memory book of friendship.C. They invited all her friends to her birthday party.D. They asked all her friends to send her cards.2. It has been announced that a comet (彗星) is heading towards the Earth. Most of it will miss our planet, but two pieces will probably hit the southern half of the Earth. On 17th July, a piece four kilometers wide enters the Earth’s atmosphere with a massive explosion. About half of the piece is destroyed, but the remaining part hits the South Atlantic at 200 times the speed of sound. The sea boils and a huge hole is made in the sea bed. Huge waves are created and spread outwards from the hole. The wall of water, a kilometer high, rushes towards southern Africa at 800 kilometers an hour. Cities on the African coast are totally destroyed and millions of people are drowned. Before the waves reach South America, the second piece of the comet lands in Argentina. Earthquakes and volcanoes are set off in the AndesMountains. The shock waves move north into California and all around the Pacific Ocean. The cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Tokyo are completely destroyed by earthquakes. Millions of people in the southern half of the Earth are already dead, but the north won’t escape for long. Because of the explosions, the sun is hidden by clouds of dust, temperatures around the world fall to almost zero. Crops are ruined. The sun won’t be seen again for many years. Wars break out as countries fight for food. A year later, no more than 10 million people remain alive.Could it really happen? In fact, it has already happened more than once in the history of the Earth. The dinosaurs were on the Earth for over 160 million years. Then 65 million years ago they suddenly disappeared. There arecertainly important changes that need to be made at every level—statewide, nationwide, and even worldwide—that can help preserve the Earth. That doesn’tmean, though, that there’s nothing that can be done on an individual level. We spoke to eight of the country’s leading environmentalists and asked themthis question: Their individual answers varied, but the point they truly wanted to stress did not: One person can make a difference. The other common idea was that they had a difficult time limiting it to only one tip. Matt Petersen, president of Global Green USA, recommended that, in the long run, we rebuild our buildings so that they are green.Dr. Brent Blackwelder, president of Friends of the Earth, emphasizes the importance of the state and federal tax code on the energy choices we make, and feels this is a widely overlooked issue. One example cited is the “gas-guzzler(耗油量极大的汽车)tax, ” as it is often referred to. This loophol e(漏洞)has encouraged automakers to focus their production and advertising efforts on the products that end up being the biggest gas-guzzlers and polluters.Equally the carbon footprint, measured in carbon dioxide units, calculates the impact human beings have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouses gases produced. Both our direct emissions(排放)of carbon dioxide, like the burning of fossil fuels and the indirect emissions of carbon dioxide as a result of the manufacture and breakdown of everyday products are calculated into the carbon footprint measurement. Commonplace activities like eating red meat and drinking bottled water are slowly but surely contributing to the devastation of our environment. So take our experts’ tips into considerat ion. This Earth Day, give Mother Nature the day off. Take public transportation, turn out your lights, and try not to print every one of your e-mails. It’s the little things that really can make a difference.37. According to the passage, eight environmentalists _______.A. didn’t agree with each other at allB. had the same suggestionsC. all thought each person could play a part in environment protectionD. came from different countries38. Dr. Brent Blackwelder held the view that _______.A. we should build more green buildingsB. drivers using gas-guzzlers should pay higher taxC. federal government had paid much attention to the problem caused by gas-guzzlersD. gas-guzzlers produced less pollution than expected39. The underlined word “devastation” probably means _______.A. damageB. protectionC. educationD. change40. What is mainly discussed in this passage?A. Carbon footprint.B. Gas-guzzler tax.C. Celebration of the Earth Day.D. Saving our earth.【拓展提升】(请根据以上的完形填空完成下题)选择合适的词组并用其正确形式填空。

They are less likely to invest, more likely to experience difficulty with debt, and less likely to know the terms of their mortgage, the cost of this financial ignorance is very high. 4What is the solution? 5 Like reading and math, financial education must become part of the core curriculum in our schools.Likewise, parents should engage in regular and constructive conversations about money matters. This will give their kids a solid foundation for financial wellbeing, which will keep on giving returns throughout the course of their lives.A.Financial education must start early.B.However,they miss an important point.C.Why does each of us have to face a financial challenge?D.Why does financial literacy matter so much in our society?E.Rich people are generally better educated on financial management.F.Besides,these people have more than double the wealth of people with a low level.G.For example, they frequently make late credit card payments, overspend their credit limit, etc.【语篇解读】本文是一篇议论文。

On the second he was captured and handed over to the Portuguese garrisoning(驻守) Sao Jorge da Mina(now Elmina, Ghana),who allowed him to return to England. By the 1570s,England had largely abandoned hope of finding a Northeast Passage to Asia, and thoughts turned to the Northwest. Frobisher worked together with Michael Lok, a man of some wealth and learning. Frobisher’s first voyage, in 1576,took him to Frobisher Bay in Baffin Island. English investors(投资者),including Queen Elizabeth, poured money into Lok’s Company of Cathay. Frobisher sailed again in 1577, this time to ship home what he mistakenly thought was goldbearing minerals.Lok still felt hopeful and sent Frobisher back in 1578. This time the mariner discovered the Hudson Strait. He followed the strait for nearly 200 miles, believing it to be a more promising Northwest Passage than Frobisher Bay. He brought home more dirt and rocks, but English confidence had gone;Lok went to a debtors’ prison and Frobisher sought other employment. Frobisher accompanied Sir Francis Drake to the West Indies in 1585-1586.When Philip Ⅱ’s Spanish Armada(无敌舰队)entered the English Channel in 1588, Frobisher’s part in the fighting was successful and he received knighthood(爵士爵位).He died of a wound received near Brest, where he had been sent to relieve the siege(解除包围).He lived just long enough to be taken back to Plymouth. 【解题导语】 本文记叙了英国著名探险家Martin Frobisher,他发现了加拿大的哈得孙海峡。 1.The underlined word“abandoned”in Paragraph 2 can best be replaced by________.
