一年前，我把即将参选的父亲介绍给了大家

One year ago, I introduced my father when he declared his candidacy.

以他自己的方式，也凭借他自己强大的意志力，他牺牲了很多，作为一个政坛局外人参与进来，他牺牲了16个非常有才华的竞争队友。

In his own way, and through his own sheer force of will, he sacrificed greatly to enter the political arena as an outsider, and he prevailed against a field of 16 very talented competitors.

一年多来唐纳德-川普一直是人民的拥护者

For more than a year, Donald Trump has been the people’s champion.

而今晚，他是人民的候选人。

And tonight, he is the people’s nominee.

和许多我们这一代人一样，我不单纯的将自己当做是共和党人或民主党人。

Like many of my fellow millennials, I do not consider myself categorically republican or democrat.

超越了党派的限制，我只给我认为适合我的家庭和国家的人投票

More than party affiliation, I vote what I believe is right for my family and my country.

有时候这是一个艰难的选择

Sometimes, it’s a tough choice.

但这一次就不是那样。

That is not the case this time.

作为你们提名人的女儿我感到骄傲

As the proud daughter of your nominee,

我在这里告诉你们这一刻终于来了

I am here to tell you that this is the moment

唐纳德-川普就是那个能使美国再次伟大的人

and Donald Trump is the person to make America great again.

几十年来我们还没见过的真正变革

Real change, the kind we have not seen in decades,

只有可能来自于体制外

is only going to come from outside the system,

而且只可能来自于这么一个人

and it’s only going to come from a man

这个人用一辈子做别人不信他能完成的事

who has spent his entire life doing what others said could not be done.

我的父亲是名战士

My father is a fighter,

当初选变得激烈

when the primaries got tough

真的激烈他做了伟大领袖都会做的事

-- and they were tough -- he did what any great leader does.

他苦心钻研，努力工作

He dug deeper. Worked harder.

变得更好，变得更强

Got better, and became stronger.

我见证他曾为他的家人奋斗

I have seen him fight for his family.

我看到了他为他的雇员奋斗

I have seen him fight for his employees.

我更看到了他为他的公司而战

I have seen him fight for his company,

现在，我看到了他为他的国家而奋斗

and now , I’ve seen him fight for his country.

他的一生如此

It’s been the story of his life,

and more recently, the spirit of his campaign.

It’s also a prelude to reaching a goal that

unites this party and better this still, this country, knows what it is like to win again.

If it’s possible to be famous and yet not really well known,

that describes the father who raised me.

In the same office in Trump tower where we now work together,

我记得曾在我父亲的办公桌旁边的地板上玩耍

I remember playing on the floor by my father’s desk,

用乐高或曼卡洛积木搭建微型建筑

constructing miniature building with Legos and Erectorsets,

就像他用混凝土，钢材和玻璃搞建设一样

while he did the same with concrete, steel, and glass.

我的父亲教我的兄弟姐妹和我正向价值观和强大道德感召的重要性

My father taught my siblings and me the importance of positive values and a strong ethical compass.

He showed us how to be resilient, how to deal with challenges,

and how to strive for excellence in all that we do.

He taught us there is nothing we can’t accomplish if we marry vision and passion, with an enduring work ethic.

One of my father’s greatest talents is his ability to see potential in people,

before they see it in themselves.

我们成长的过程中也是如此

It was like that for us, too, growing up.

He taught us that potential vanishes into nothing without effort,

and like him, we each had a responsibility to work not just for ourselves, but for the betterment of the world around us.

Over the years, on too many occasions to count,

I saw my father tear stories out of the newspaper about people

那些人他从来没见过，但是面对着不公或困难的

whom he had never met who were facing some injustice or hardship.

He’d write a note to his assistant in his signature black, felt-tip pen,

命令找到那些人

and request that the person be found,

and invited to Trump tower to meet with him.

He would talk to them, and draw upon his extensive network

给他们找个工作或帮助他们度过难关

to find them a job, or get them a break.

And they would leave his office,

as people so often do after meeting with Donald Trump,

that life could be great again.

Throughout my entire life, I have witnessed his empathy and generosity toward other, especially those who are suffering.

It is just his way of being in your corner when you are down.

My father has a sense a fairness that touches every conviction he’s hold.

现在我已经和他一起在川普集团工作了十多年

I’ve worked alongside him for more than a decade now in the Trump organization,

and I’ve seen how he operates as a leader,

making important decisions that shape careers and change lives.

I’ve learned a lot about the world from working construction jobs by his side.

When run properly, construction sites are true meritocracies.

Competence in the building trades is easy to spot,

and incompetence is impossible to hide.

gathering people from all walks of life

and uniting them to work toward a single mission.

There have always been men of all backgrounds and ethnicities on my father’s job sites,

Words and promises, no matter how visionary they sound, will only get you so far.

Policies that allow women with children to thrive should not be novelties;

they should be the norm.

Politicians talk about wage equality,

但我的父亲在他的整个职业生涯却使他的公司始终那么去做了

but my father has made it a practice at his company throughout his entire career.

He will fight for equal pay, for equal work,

and I will fight for this too, right alongside of him.

Americans today need an economy that permits people to rise again.

Fortunately, Donald Trump is incapable of thinking small.
