1.热身(Warm up)
(1)教师播放本单元歌曲“When is your birthday?”学生跟唱。
(2)击鼓传花
教师播放音乐,学生传彩球,教师停止音乐时彩球传到哪位学生的手里,哪位学生就站起来与教师进行对话,如:
T:When is my birthday?Guess!
S1:Is it in January?/...
2.新课展示(Presentation)
(1)Let’s try
①教师出示Let’s try板块的图片,提问:Who’s this baby?并引导学生猜测。教师告知学生:He is Mike’s new cousin.When is the baby’s birthday?Listen and tick.
②教师播放教学录音,学生根据录音内容勾出正确答案。
③教师再次播放教学录音,师生一起核对答案。
(2)Let’s talk
①教师播放三年级上册Unit 6 Story time板块的动画视频,学生观看并唱歌曲“Happy
birthday”。
教师告知学生:Zoom’s birthday is on March 3rd.并询问几名学生:When is your
birthday?引导学生运用句型My birthday is on...回答。

Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my
lesson with you.
The content of my lesson is Book4 Unit5 B Let’s talk which comes
from PEP primary English. This section is mainly about asking the price
and inquiring the clothes size. I’ll explain how to teach and why do so
from the following aspects: the analysis of teaching materials, analysis of
students, teaching methods, learning methods, teaching procedure and
blackboard design.
I. The analysis of the teaching materials
First, let me talk about the analysis of teaching materials. This lesson
is about a shopping topic. By study of this unit, the students know how to
ask the price in English and how to describe the size and price with
simple words and sentences. The sentence patterns of this lesson “What

本节课讲解的是Unit 4 When is the art show? B Let’s talk，本课的教学内容主要围绕“birthday”展开，由一个主要句型“When is your
birthday? It’s on ...”，通过参加人物“birthday party”来展开对话内容。让学生在熟知自己生日的基础上利用英语思维进行表达和交流。由于在前一节课中学生已经掌握了月份单词，并了解了询问生日月份的有关句子，因此，本课主要引导学生进行“说”，鼓励学生去多说，在交流中让思维发生碰撞，学生的主体性得到实现。
课前我复习了12个月的听、说、读、写，根据同学们的喜好出示了本班同学的照片，当我出示同学们的照片同时，让同学guess：When is ...'s birthday? 同学们纷Her birthday is in ...？或者是His
birthday is in...?通过同学们的说，很自然的引入了本节课的主干句子的教学When is...'s birthday? Her/His birthday is in ... .我觉得最成功的的地方就是这里，学生们都很感兴趣自己和同学的生日，当猜对了，喜出望外，当猜错了，有一种越挫越勇的气势。文本很自然就输出来了。
美国著名的心理学家布鲁纳说过：“学习的最好刺激是对学习材料的兴趣。”因此，课前，我对本课的内容做了充分的准备，搜集了很多关于本课教学内容的声音、图片资料，以此来引起学生强烈的兴趣，使他们关注本课的教学内容。同时也利用学生已有的知识经验，在此基础上进行拓展。例如在Warm-up过程中通过对月份、季节的复习，为今天的教学内容埋下伏笔。由于教授的是五年级的学生，他们的英语知识有限，如何在最大程度上利用他们的知识，成为关键。因此本课的教学中，我利用他们已有的认知，巧妙的将教学内容整合起来，激发学生积极探索、创作的兴趣。例如在Presentation 阶段课件出示“birthday party”. 通过过生日的情境的创设，学习新授单词birthday.激发了学生参与学习的欲望。让学生熟悉句型之后再通过学生的直观经验，教师的参与，将教学内容引入学生感兴趣的明星的身上，自然的操练本课的重点句型“When is his/her birthday? It’s on ...”。同时也注重对学生学习能力的培养。如：口头表达能力、组织能力、听力能力、评价能力等。把更多是时间交给学生去做、去想、去动口，同时，渗透合作思想，让学生感悟合作的重要性。学生在学习的过程中，主动参与，不断进步。
