1. Overview
Definition of L/C
• Letter of credit (L/C) is one of the safest payment methods commonly adopted in international trade. • It is a payment undertaking given by a bank to a beneficiary and is issued on behalf of the applicant.

According to the sales contract, the confirmed and irrevocable letter of credit in our favor should be opened 30 days before the shipping date. I understand that now it’s your busiest moment for arranging new season’s orders. However, in order to avoid any delay of this order, please extend your cooperation on establishing this L/C to us ASAP.
