一、 教案背景

二、 教学目的

三、 教材分析与学生分析
本节课是外研版英语第五册第三模块。这一模块主要是学习用一般过去式询问以及描述过去发生的事情。本节课将涉及到一些名胜古迹，关于关于自己的祖国的长城和八达岭，学生有一定的了解，借助多种媒体让学生学习如何用英语来描述自己及他人的旅游经历，学生表达的欲望一定很强烈；关于英国的伦敦眼等，学生不太了解，借助多媒体让学生走进英国的名胜古迹，学生学习的积极性一定很高。
本节课的授课对象是小学五年级的学生，他们想象力丰富，对事物充满好奇，乐于参加表演，喜欢做游戏，急于得到别人特别是老师的肯定；并且他们已具备一定的口语表达能力和书写能力。所以在本节课教学中，首先培养学生的学习兴趣，使学生掌握一定的语言知识。其次，培养学生利用所学的语言知识解决实际问题、进行表达交际的能力。最后，培养学生的合作、互助意识和创新意识。
